I love the engine-exhaust notes of all the older bikes. Such great personalities. Who needs brakes? Lol. I envy your getting to give us the N,S,E,W, tours of the metro area of Marne. 👍👍
I just bought a 62 Thunderbolt, it needs tlc, but it runs. I have a himalayan, but wanted something to tinker with and improve. Love your enthusiasm and lack of planning! (gearbox). I think the lever arm on the front brake drum needs rotating anticlockwise a little- the angle between the cable and the lever arm should be less than 90 degrees. This is so common on videos, I finally had to comment.

Wow! I had a Thunderbolt back in the early 70's, and I thoroughly enjoyed it! ⚡🇬🇧🇺🇲🌎

It's a fun bike. Love BSA's. Thanks!
You can update the brakes on that motorcycle by putting the later 68 through 70 twin leading shoe front brake.
Good idea. Wahoo!
