Loved watching this, I was born in Howard's road plaistow maternity hospital in 1962 and spent most weekends at my nans house in kings court. Which was a few hundred yards behind queens rd market. My first venture to the upton park ground, was in 1967/ 68 season as a 5 or 6 year old. I like most have seen some of west hams finest players come and go. I'm 62 now and love west ham as much now as I did then. COYI
As I get on, I realize how tribal I am. My back proudly bears the ink that served as my tribal affiliation in my youth, and now I am merely a tribal elder 🍺🏴 I’m an expat now, if I want my pie mash n liquor then I have to make it my bloody self 😂
I remember that Watford team well, Blissett was a really good player , goal scorer. Love these historical westham clips , goals etc always different to what / how, I remember watching them live , plus on terraces ya miss most of the game singing & generally aiming abuse at the ref , usual stuff.. I wasn't a fan of the turrets the new west stand, but I'd give anything to go back in time & keep our old home from home ..
everything has changed. we should never of left the boleyn. Younger supporters fell for the promises of the board and no matter what others say.....it can never have the same feel about the club and atmosphere.
@@antonyjones4259 absolutely agree. I'll never like the London stadium, can't see much so end up staring at the big screens. It's the community that lost out too when GSB moved away, the shops cafes etc had been part of the whole experience , they've lost out big time, many gone bust bc of losing the trade of match days. It's sad
West ham and everything it represented is dead. They fans are herded in the new stadium like cattle with zero atmosphere. The fans that still go are mugs!
WHUFC for ever! I'm forever blowing bubbles from Mexico City since 1986

West Ham......the best team "never" to have won the league.!!
How they hardly finish top half of league table every season
but we won the world cup in 66!

@@richardevans7035 o yeah

Maybe so! But you still should pay back the British taxpayer some of the £750,000,000 the Olympic stadium cost us to build!😫
@@paulmcallister8948 yeah but not west hams fault that was the deal on the table
