I think I've missed the vote boat, but I'll say I use the Thrustmaster HOTAS for everything MSFS. I do, of course, also use a GamePad for camera views outside (which I'm just learning). Now that I'm starting to use the Caravan and the TBM, I'm thinking of adding throttles so I'll be able to control the prop angles without looking down.
I've got the TB yoke/throttle and Logitech G Saitek PRO Flight Rudder Pedals for the 99% GA flying I do, and the Thrustmaster T.Flight Hotas One flight stick for the 1% of helo flying I do. The TB is good, but could be better (it still sticks which is a pain, even though I've had it 2 years now, and TB haven't updated the firmware for a while which could make it even better). Somehow I missed your poll - I would have certainly voted. I haven't tried DCS or War Thunder, so I may give these a go at some point.
CH Product Fighter Stick. I like holding the joystick at the base in my left hand, it's a must. I use the left thumb for the throttle. wheel. Several buttons to map most used functions. Coupled with Logitech Rudder Pedals. And the Logitech Multipanel. It's a dream!!!
I have both turtle beach velocity one yoke and the turtle beach velocity flightstick and also a thrustmaster tca airbus quadran with it's spoiler and flaps extention also. I use a lot the velocity flightstick and the tca quadran throttle/flaps/spoiler use for a few aircraft the turtle beach velocity one yoke
I’ve been using all Logitech equipment until about a month ago when my yoke decided to lose its driver, and we were unable to get it working. I replaced it with the Velocity One yoke and what an upgrade! I love my new toy (being a tech idiot I had some struggles with setting up custom profiles but think it’s done now). Logitech worked fine but I’m very happy with my decision to switch.
I originally started with the Saitek yoke and throttle quadrant. I had the Saitek pro rudder pedals. The yoke always felt quite sloppy. I recently purchased the Boeing yoke and 2 Boeing throttle quadrants and the difference is night and day. I also use the Logitech multipanel and autopilot peripherals.
Turtle Beach Velocity one with rudder pedals. I like it a lot when it works properly. Trim wheel has issue where you have to reset it to T/O every time you take off. If you do a discovery flight where it starts mid air you crash. Also the rudder pedals constantly lose the toe breaks. The interface is pretty bad. Turning accessories on and off is quirky. Very nice over all though.
Ch Products Eclipse yoke, Ch Products throttle quadrant and Ch Products Pro Pedals. I got them dialed in the settings so the aircraft "feel" nice and I have all of the switches and buttons assigned (there are a lot of switches and buttons). I'm in the process of 3d printing throttle, flap and spoiler handles for the throttle quadrant. I know they're tech old but they are working great for me.
All of the saitek panels with 6 fips rudder pedals and yoke, turtle beach hotas, virpil collective, saitek trim wheel and bip, 2 radio panelsand tobii eye tracker
I fly GA planes almost exclusively so for me it's Velocity One yoke/quadrant, rudder pedals and an old Saitek fligh stick (probably to be replaced with the Velocity One version) for some planes. I think the Turtle Beach products are excellent value for money while, although tempted, I can't cost justify the Honeycomb products.
I had the Logitech Yoke and throttle for many years and was very happy with it, then I bought the Honeycomb Yoke and throttle Quadrant about a year back and Boy is that something else, I'm over the moon with it, I'm using them with the Saitek Pro Flight rudder pedals. I'm so happy with my setup.
I recently purchased the Honeycomb Yoke & Throttle Quadrant after I broke my Velocity One Yoke. Very pleased with it except the Throttle Quadrant doesn’t light up in spite of ‘fixes’ that I have applied. All the dials, knobs & buttons work I just wear a head torch to see the buttons. Waiting for the Charlie rudder pedals so using velocity rudder pedals which are very good just way to high off the ground so it feels like driving a Go Kart.
Started with Saitek X-52 and still use the throttle with a VKB Gladiator stick. For GA aircraft, I use Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo. Also old Logitech rudder peddles .
I use the Thrushmaster T.Flight HOTAS ONE (pc / Xbox) with the Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals or (TFRP), and they have been working great for almost three years now.
Have the Velocity One Yoke system. It would be interesting to see if people are exclusively flying with the Yoke type controller versus flight stick. Maybe even the percentage of their time on MSFS with the yoke versus stick since some may be like me and switch back to my old Saitek when I am in a helicopter or WW II type plane.
I would say the Virpil is probably a better stick, throttle. But VKB very close second, customer service and shipping from China is second to none. Cheers
I liked the V1 yoke best but i sold it on as the trim problems just ruined the experience, so now its the Honeycomb yoke and throttle Velocity one flight stick and rudder, its a bit of a cobble in Xbox Axair miap Woojer rumble vest and phone or tablet on a kneeboard
Logitech really need to update their drivers. Constantly find problems with the Multi-Panel and some aircraft. One solution would be Spad.next, but a bit too much messing about for me. Mr. Huddison has done a video on this at th-cam.com/video/XSzr0PKqAvA/w-d-xo.html
I’m on Xbox series X. My set up starts with the next level racing flight Sim cockpit, then I have the Turtle Beach yolk, stick and rudder pedals. I also have the Xbox controller, a keyboard and mouse. AXAIR MIAP Pro and MILI23. I do have my laptop for Simbrief and Navigraph and my tablet for flying along with TH-cam streamers in group flights. My wife uses the Thrust Master T.Flight HOTAS and rudder petals, Xbox controller, MIAP original keyboard, and mouse
I use Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals, logitech yoke and throttle. Thrustmaster hotas Joystick. logitech flight multi panel and flight switch panel and 2 android phones for FS map and FS radiopanel.
@@Huddison I think you'd find that the vast majority of Honeycomb yokes in use are the original models that are INcompatible with the console and that relatively soon after Honeycomb began marketing an Alpha model compatible with both PC and Xbox, the company essentially went out of business as it's manufacturing ground to a halt. Not sure, but I think I must stand by my statement that the Velocity One's plurality in the poll is owing to the absence of availability of Xbox-compatible Honeycomb Alphas. I'm not critical of Turtle Beach's product. It's good, but the poll is apples to oranges
Hi Huddison, hi all! I'm have a question, what is the best overall CONTROLLER for Xbox X series for begginer? I'm love in VelocityOne Deck flight but it's support only Pc, and I have Flight One X (but it's to simple). TX all for reply.

Wonderful: go with what fits your needs and budget - I was happy with each incarnation of flight controllers that I've used.

The V1 Yoke is a nice upgrade eh ;)

OG Hotas are often the best.

V1 offer the best affordable all-rounder flight controllers and I still hugely recommend them.

Good points and suggestions.
Normally use a FFB yoke, stick and rudder (VPForce kits)Plus thrustmaster HOTAS.
FFB is something I still need to try.
@@Huddison Game changing in a GA aircraft, but if you fly commercial jets (FBW) and have a good quality stick/yoke, not worth the effort.

@@Huddison I´m having a blast with it🤪
Hey Huddison,
On the Series X I use a combination of controller for flight and m + k for button pushing.
The Velocity One is a good piece of kit, but it's big lead exists ONLY because it's the only one of your choices that is compatible with the Xbox
Honeycomb and the boeing yoke also work on Xbox.
