      I have Kash mixed in with mine, trying to capitalize on the rank 10 kick up if I get turn silence. Birth helps empty graveyards and beef up the gandora when he shows up. It also sucks out the ashes and imperms while they are jumping around. Then I have ghost girls and Veiler a for both what they do and to get out 8 and 10s synchros. I'm trying to work some psychic processors in there but the draws need to be really lucky to make anything useful with that so far. I also have vouiburial and lord of the heavenly prison to help jump to Varudras asap but I'm really focused on being a blind second deck. Sick kids have kept me from locals but would to know what you think about it. I'm honestly not sure if more draw power or flood gates would just be better but I don't think people will expect my "get what I want deck" to be pulling out the boss monsters I am. Just have to protect versus that first ash, imperms/veilers and nib which I run up against.

      How about next time you make a deck profile. dont shit on the deck and deter people from using it. Figure out a way to make the deck work. its called book of moon and swords of concealing light that way you can get your gandora G combo off and banish 7-9 cards then special Silent Magician zero back out and raise its attack then battle phase with gandora and s magician hitting the other player with those 2 for game.

    I think people play the second Silent Magician because When you Gandora you get the Silent Magician from them and it gets boosted by the amount of cards Gandora pops, So both Gandora and Silent Magician make the OTK

  • @neogalactic1195

    Also turn silence is a pretty good card as a 2 of IMO, it helps you otk by buffing your silent magician/swordsman in the BP especially one summoned off gandora's G's effect which increases the silent cards level by the number of cards destroyed. Also turn silence doesn't care where the monster effect is being activated, so in many scenarios it is much more flexible than an imperm, it can negate nibiru, hand traps, monster graveyard effects, I actually love it for insulating the deck's plays and helping resolve the ties that bind and gandora G's on field effect

      @KHuyPh 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      I second this, Turn Silence is nice nice! For me, optimizing for going second and ending my board with Shining Sarc, Gandora, Silent Magician, and a set Turn Silence is nice! It takes some set up since you need a Shining Sarc monster and Shining Sarc on field already, but setting that up should be your main goal anyways, so it can protect your Gold Sarc/Gadget opening to make sure you get your Gandora or can summon it. It's a better Silent Swordsman 0 imo. And I've had multiple instances where I can just end the battle phase immediately in case someone does manage to beat over my Sarc monsters (which can easily happen if you go the ties that bind route on turn 1). It needs set up, but it's a flexible card going 1st or 2nd once you can use it

  • @docaw07
    @docaw07 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

    Definitely gotta be playing at least 2 silent magician, otherwise Gandora has got nothing to summon and swing for the OTK. Looking forward to when the Ebon Sorcerer comes out and what the deck can do then, though the key is be figuring out a consistent way to pop his effect on our turn. Dragoon + Silent Magician sounds like a nice opening board and he'll stick around with Gandora on the follow-up turn. Dark Cavalry or The Dark Magicians after the Silent's have used their effects might be a decent backup plan if we can't get consistent access to a dragon turn 1.

    I run forbidden droplet and book of eclipse to dodge hand traps for when gadget is summoned. I also play instant fusion and called by the grave so they can’t stop future silence or sarc. My main goal/priority is to make sure shining sarcophagus is in play. It’s the decks win condition

    • @shy_waffle
      @shy_waffle 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I also run ties that bind at 1. It doesn’t win games so 1 is fine. I play turn silence at 2 cuz it actually does multiple things. It makes my silent monsters stronger, negates a mon effect and you can use its gy effect to end a battle phase

    In my testing (online only) the deck only really does stuff with archetypes that benefit from Gandora's effects. Either the paying half your LP or the destruction/banishing. Dinomorphia was neat when it popped off, but had too many normal summons and routing got a little unclear when you opened multiple cards from both archetypes. Thunder Dragon/Nemeses feels better, but all you're getting typically is a Colossus. Which is annoying at best when combined with Silent Magician. But Nemeses can at least return your Silent monsters after the Gandora nuke.
    Sky Striker package can get you to Platinum Gadget, which will special summon Gadget Trio from deck when popped by Gandora.
    But in general, it feels like you *have* to play this with Horus just to add some form of recovery/followup to this deck. The Horus monsters will also survive the board wipe (King's Sarc won't). Which is a shame but it is what it is.

    I'm still on the boat that you should play a go second build for this deck. Breaking boards and out resourcing your opponent is what this deck does best, especially once we get archfiend's arrival (whenever we get it kekw). Honestly if you don't draw shifter in this deck you're playing a tier 4/5 deck. Trading 1 for one with hand traps is not really worth it vs any real deck (barring a brick from snake eye). Playing board breakers like triple tactics talent, book of eclipse, and resolving gandora-g's board nuke and summoning silent magician + having turn silence in a simplified game state is how you will win.

      i would really love to see a going second version of the deck
      but the problem is that the deck doesn't have the power to otk like at all so unless your opponent is playing a deck that gets out of resources turn 1 and uses all the pieces in their deck you will end up with the same situation where you will build a really weak end board and you will lose next turn to your opponent just building their board again cuz almost every deck in the game right now have a ton of follow up and a ton of different plays like branded and snake eyes for example
      so I don't really think that a going second build will fix the deck problems at all cuz it looks like a control deck but it doesn't have enough plays to win the grind game and doesn't have the power to otk at all

      @neogalactic1195 How does Archfiend's Arrival help break a board or out resource your opponent? I was under the impression that it doesn't really synergize with Gandora cuz once you nuke the board, there's no monsters of your opponents to control. I was thinking the DM would be better because it recurs itself after the Gandora nuke, allowing you to set Secrets of DM for a Dragoon negate on your opp turn. Then Gandora special summons one of the silents and boosts its atk. Gandora, DM, and a Silent (with enough cards banished) should be enough for an OTK, and if not you have Dragoon for follow up. Maybe I don't know the deck too well yet, but where does the Archfiend's Arrival fit into that?

    • @1106hdgaming
      @1106hdgaming 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@KHuyPh archfiend arrival is used in 2 ways, summoned by gandoras effect (less frequent) in case there’s still a monster in the opponents field like shangri-ira or another monster that cannot be destroyed. The other way is by normal summoning without tributing, if you don’t want to blow up the field (normally when you go first and is turn 3 onwards) you take control of something and attack with everything. Also remember that archfiend arrival boost all the monster by 500 atk.

    I've seen some suggest playing a small Branded engine (3 Branded Fusion, 1-2 Albaz, and Albaz fusions) and Dark Magician engine (1x DM, 2x Soul Servant, 1x Secrets of Dark Magic, x1 Rod, x 2 Magician Souls, x1-2 Illusion of Chaos) so you can make plays into Dragoon since it can stay on the field and survive the nuking from Gandora. It can also use Gandora to make a dragoon with Super Poly and/or Secrets of DM too and attempt going for lethal. This can serve as a decent DM engine until we get DM of Ebon Sorcerer stuff in a couple months from now.

    A lot of the lists I’ve seen are running Pot of Prosperity rather than Extravagance. Even though it halves the damage your opponent takes, I think the rationale I’ve seen is that this deck benefits a lot more from digging for the right card versus straight-up drawing them. As you mentioned, between Gadget, Future Silence, and Shining Sarc, you already have 9 cards to pull the core combo pieces you want; is it worth testing with Prosperity to see if that makes things more consistent or makes pulling your more generic cards easier?

    Hey man, awesome to see you working on this deck. Shining Sarcophagus is my absolute favorite deck of all time so always awesome to see more people playing it.
    - I'd cut Moremarshmallon, he's an absolutely adorable little guy and he's very hard to out, but with removal like S:P in the game right now, and the main gameplan of the deck going first to keep Shining Sarc on field to OTK/boardwipe turn 3, you won't be getting as much use out of him.
    - You'll probably want to run 2 Silent Magician Zero. The reason for this is because you'll want one to summon off Ties That Bind turn 1, along with Silent Swordsman Zero, and the 2nd one to summon off Gandora turn 3 for the boardwipe + OTK. While they do suck to draw, the deck's lack of GY recursion rn kind of forces you into playing them.
    - Last thing isn't completely necessary but I do think Turn Silence is good at 2 since you'll want another good spell to search off Gadget-Trio once you already have a Shining Sarc in rotation.
    Once again it's awesome to see you playing the deck and excited to see where you take it!

    I completely agree with the lack of follow up and the drawback of using gandora with your board build when going 1st. The deck feels incomplete right now, but it’ll get better with the DM and the trap, also the summoned skull it’s handy.
    Swordsman is worst, it’s true, but I think is not that bad, btw, swordsman doesn’t need sarc to be on field to negate unlike magician.
    The only thing I don’t agree with is your take on turn silence, is worst than imperm because it needs to be on response to the effect so it can be chain blocked but so gamma or ash, but it’s better because it doesn’t target so it can’t be dodge and can negate monster anywhere, not just field like imperm. I don’t see it that situational since you always need sarc and at least 1 monster to do anything with this deck (like ties that bind or magician), so, if you couldn’t activate turn silence is because you are already in a pretty bad situation where you cannot use anything because you lack sarc or a monster.
    I would recommend pot of prosperity because it’s better to grab a specific card (sarc or something that gets you there) than 2 random cards. Also pot of desires boost gandora a lot!
    About marsh, I do agree battle phase effects are kinda weak right now but, did he did his job? Protecting you from battle I mean. And why do you say it was bad specifically? Did they out it before the battle phase or did they outed sarc before the battle phase? Just to have more context. Because normally you summon marsh in attack declaration, not in the main phase.
    Other than that, great build!!!! And hope you keep developing the deck! 💪🏼

      @LOZA-DM  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I summoned Marsh in BP but he was still outted as Cosmic also outted Sarc (already used both Silent negates).
      He never really helps you win, he's more of a 'don't lose' card.
      It's super dead when Sarc is gone also

      @@LOZA-DM ooof that’s hard. You are absolutely right, it’s a don’t lose card (other words for defensive card). But being fair, if they cosmic your sarc, you’re done anyway, there’s not a single card in the archetype that will help you other than another sarc or something that gets you there. 😅

    Im seeing a level of success pairing this deck with a runick engine. You go more into the control aspect of the deck, it helps you draw to see the missing pieces you need, and after a couple turns and completely overtaking your opponent in card advantage, you see when you're ready to stop runick-ing and go for the Gandora otk (which btw, Gandora gets massive at this point). I find they flow well together, one can bait ash for the other engine, and their protection effects kind of go hand in hand. Its still not perfect, but i find it competes much better than other versions I've tried. (Though i think the Dogmatika version of the deck shows a lot of promise too and i see a lot of synergy). Cheers!

    I do like turn silence but I get it, the whole deck feels situational and I like to play 2 magician to summon the second one with gandora's effect on turn 3 to otk, but youre right the deck feels super incomplete specially if you play it pure, I've seen branded dogmatika/super heavy/runick versions but I dont know, with the ebon magician at least we have an easy line for dragoon or destined rivals, I love the deck tho, and theres a lot of space for future support

  • @TrainerDell
    @TrainerDell 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I think at least a second Magician to summon off Gandora is something to look at. I switched out my 3 extravs for 2 prosperity because resolving 1 prosperity sees you more cards than resolving 2 extravs. I am desperate to see my starters or another starter if something gets interrupted. The moremarsh has saved me once but it def isnt necessary. Keeping turn silence is ok at 1 since if you have a board it can stop hand traps or floating effects from your opponent’s monsters since it doesn’t need to target. I also moved shifter to the side deck for now because I felt my local scene were trying out newer strategies. Most didn’t die to shifter. Lyna has been an MVP in my extra deck because it can take my opponent’s veiler or ghost ogre to link climb. I go for Knightmare Unicorn, but hopefully I can get an S:P Little Knight for better board breaking.
    All this to say sadly the deck isn’t even Rogue tier without a “competitive” other engine to either bait negates or have a backup plan if you don’t see Shining Sarc

    Cool change you can make when the new support comes out is ebon magician, and secrets of dark magic, ebon in monster zone is treated as dark magician, dark magician + gandora= dragoon how it works, either have gandora and search mag, or have mag search gandora, summon mag summon gandora gandora effect to banish mag, mag triggers bringing itself back searching secrets then drop dragoon whenever is convenient
    edit: because gandora is a destruction effect it also means Dragoon is Immune to the effect, meaning you get two board wipes if you run a 2nd gandora which most lists do you can also attack before fusing due to secrets being quickplay, dealing around 6500 damage without factoring in gandora, you also get a free special summon of either Gadget for another spell or Arrival for a monster steal arrival is also good because arrival +silent = chaos archfiend which isn't a play you'll go into much when dragoons an option but it's there if you wanted it you could also do it without silent provided you steal a light or dark monster that's level 4

    Have you considered using dogmatika package? I was thinking about testing it out as a way to Strengthen going first it with dogmatika punishment to send elder etss and garura for the draw, and things like luluwalith you can use with nadir to send it, and in the end phase summon silent magician since it's stats are the same to enable your spell negate if your sarc search gets blocked by like ash you can still have it up. That's what I intend to test out. Also I think ultimate slayer could be good in that style of deck as well using malong or aggregator to spin back problematic monsters. Not to mention a super poly package wouldn't be hard to play to break a board going second then utilize ties afterwards since it locks you out of extra deck.

    I'm really sorry for saying this but the people who design this cards wasn't thinking at all i think it is a meme deck , very weak and very anime I don't think they what it to playable at all unless we get a real support soon this deck won't be playable and even with the dm and all the other ocg cards that we're missing it's not enough cuz it makes the deck a 2 card dragoon turbo and the combo will lose to a 1 cand trap and it's not consistent enough to be honest cu the card needs other cards to work and it won't work if you're missing one of the pieces
    so the deck basically need a new dark magician girl or just a monster that have this effect in my opinion
    1/you can special this card is you have a gold sarcophagus on the field
    2/ when this card is summoned you can destroy 1 card from your hand or deck ( if you want it to be stronger give it a search effect or something like summon the new silent magician but for now the only effect we need is the destroying effect to make it 1 card combo)
    but when you look at the game dragoon is banned on ocg so why would they give the deck a dragoon turbo
    and the crazy thing is that tiles of friendship can't even summon gandora and dm so this arc type makes no sense to honest i can't even think of way to make the deck even a rouge deck and if this supposed to be a dm support they could've just gave us 2 custom cards and dm would've been amazing like top a top tier deck so yeah
    i hope you'll find a way to make the deck works but for now to me the whole arc type looks worst than dm
    Dm lacks consistency
    Gold sarcophagus of light laks power

    If you got clapped like that then your build is the problem not the deck. Have played against voiceless and a number of other decks with success. This is a pilot deck and it only gets better with the support. Might not be for you my guy 😂

      Your critique is as empty as a hollowed-out spellbook. You skim the surface with four sentences devoid of any strategic insight or constructive criticism. While you're quick to disparage, you offer no guidance on mastering the deck's intricacies or optimizing its composition.
      My transparency in admitting both the deck's mediocrity and my own shortcomings is evidently lost on you. Mayhaps it's this unyielding honesty that distinguishes my content from the disingenuous narratives peddled by other YugiTubers.
      Regardless, I bid you goodnight, hoping that someday you'll transcend the shallow depths of criticism and contribute meaningfully to the discourse.
