I got a mail from the recruiter after the Google Girl Hacathon and then after the resume shortlisting and a short phone interview , i had the opportunity to give the interview today and ngl it was not easy but a fun experience
did they reach out to everyone whose resumes got shortlisted for the google girl hackathon or the people who made it to the further stages of the hackathon? and what kind of questions did they ask in the interview?
@@ahanamajumder3954 I was the semifinalist in the hacathon but they did reach out to some of the non semi finalists,my friend got the call as well.
About the interview it was just DSA ,no other questions asked.
Introduce yourself and then the interviewer will provide you with the question that you have to solve in 45 minutes and then tell the space and time complexities. That's all .
The interviewer will share a Google doc with you where you have to code and not any compiler where you can run the code .After writing the code you will be asked to do the dry run ,be vocal while writing the code and make the interviewer under the code you write . That's all.

It was a 15 minute screening and questions on my project that I had on my resume ,no technical coding question for me but they did ask about my DSA level and my coding language that i was comfortable with .

Bro however they are not going to select Non-IITians, they wont consider our resume itself, if they cant select Non iit guys means, they must mention only iit students are eligible.

Brother, a small advice....just apply, then you will learn it yourself....dont ever miss any opportunity just bcoz you think you are not prepared...even if you are not just apply.....JUST DO IT....

It depends from company to company...google takes time with the interview process..so they need to do the applications fast....you've got atleast 4-5 months for preparation....just apply man....
