Yes, we need a way to create GSoC proposal. Open source is the most untouched thing on TH-cam. I request you and every other TH-camr to bring videos on this domain to increase the interest of the students.
Most (if not every) organization has their own template for creating/submitting the GSoC proposal. As an Ex-GSoC'er, my general advice for everyone would be looking into that and craft it accordingly. It's recommended to keep it neat and brief & simply don't make it a mini book. And always remember, Quality >> Quantity. Happy Contributing!

these indian tech bhaiya and didis are just increasing unwanted competition in GSOC and ruining its collaborative enviourment it used to have. It wont be too long before they launch a course out of it
*PLEASE ANS*: I am in class 12th and will be turning 18 in April 2024. Should I prepare or contribute? There might be a clash with GSoC and BOARD or JEE. I know Python, MySQL, DSA, pandas, numpy, matplotlib, pygame, MS Office, (it's been some time since I revised web development tech so forgotten most of it) will there be any projects on which I will be able to contribute with these techs?
@@bavish07 I had the same thoughts, but I considered participating just to learn how to contribute and see how things happen. Even if something goes wrong, I can learn from it without any loss. However, this will also require a significant amount of time, but not as much as if I were entirely focused. I appreciate your suggestion.
So in short, the question is, should I completely stay away from it, or participate and give a little bit maybe > 1 hour/day or what. Or something different idk.

Bro it's my suggestion that you should focus on board and Jee because they will not come again, but you can participate in GSoC after joining college
