oh wow seamless..... god this is great. I saw Del and his band play with Dawg and Tony rice AND Jon Fishman on drums cold rain and snow at Bonaroo….. like 10 in the morning. there were maybe 100 people present. blew my mind.
All respect to Del - we'll hang on that G-F thing from 3 mins/last verses on . . .and it sounds great and the boys don't miss a note! Now I see why I've heard several "versions" of the chord progressions for this tune!
Thank you for sharing this, we saw them two years ago and it is one of the best concerts we've ever seen. It was pure joy seeing Del sing/play those songs with that amazing band coupled with his in-between songs banter is a night we'll never forget!
oh sheesh-- and in black and white, too. This band! Garcia! he'd love this. He saw Del way back in the day. Del might give him a run for his money on best hair in the business though.....
There was a group in Angier, NC called Steve's Kitchen Band that filled the seats singing a cover of the breathtaking original. Very talented group to say the least.
It's "high on a mountain oh". Listen, you will hear it. The mountain top line is a slightly different version of the same song. Marty Stuart did it the other way. Olla Belle Reid recorded it both ways.
Del yeah!
Pure legend... and that voice, terrific 🔥
I am from Cumberland MD. Del has a music festival here every summer, and it's terrific. (Are you Del in'?)

Oh Brother Where Art Thou? Classic Back Woods Hillbilly music!
Living legends!
A great few moments in time.
Perfection!
Are you kiddin' me? Two of Del's best renditions.
Great tune. A real classic.

Ever hear of the Infamous Stringdusters, or Billy Strings? Other than Peter, the rest of OAITW are long passed.
This band is about as good at it gets. So solid.
