If they get rid of a lot of that ob on tobaggan your goingnto see a lot more pitch outs and pace of play is going to suffer. OB on the course really makes sense on the holes where it is. Hole 1 is pretty boring without ob and will remove most of the score separation. Hole 3 I could see relaxing it but ob on the right is needed for pace of play and lost discs. Also in years past they use to just hyzer left and have an open, though long, throw to the basket. I'd like to see it moved to the other side of the hill mayne with makes it slightly easier but more forgiving without making it too easy. 7 and 8 work both with and without ob in my eyes. I like the extra challenge it brings into 8 though, it's not a super exciting hole without any worry. 14 there is zero excuse not to keep that in bounds. And the ob keeps players on the actual fairway and not on 3 or 15s fairway. I saw David Wiggins Jr on 15s fairway last year. 16 I haven't liked the last couple years I wouldn't mind a change somehow. 17 I think the tee shot needs the ob. I saw countless fpo and mpo turn discs over into the hill because they were trying to stay away from the ob line. The tee shot needs that danger, and it's plenty fair. 18 is pretty crazy how it is the last couple years but I like the par 4 vs the old par 3 up the hill. Most of the ob protects the crowd and everything on the left so I'd keep that. I guess getting rid of they ob on the right would be fine but I don't know if that would make it play better. It would remove some of the stress off of both the tee shot and second shot. Ob doesn't really come into play anywhere else. I like Eric Oakley but he was acting a little unprofessional last weekend. I will say it was never directed at anyone and he was still nice to volunteers, ect.
