@button1ginger1 ahh I want to watch that! Do you know which episode that was? Love Ed. Him on WILTY talking about finding a steak pie in his pants after being hungover 😂
Everyone was on top form here, Ed&Dara egging each other on, Gary with his puns, Hugh with the smart humour, Andy&Josh with the questions and observations, then Katherine tops it off with the wordplay!
@Pete Jones Step 1: Check how many comments are about how men in a video look. Step 2: Check how many comments are about how women in a video look. There is a discrepancy (about a 200:1 ratio I'd wager) which is indicative of how different genders are viewed differently.
@Pete Jones I don't find her attractive at all, and to be perfectly honest, don't even think she is funny. She seems like a nice enough person so this is not me hating on her, but I do feel that some people might find her funny BECAUSE they think she is gorgeous. That is a common thing in all genres of the arts, for both genders. Just my two cents...

I’d love to see a show where Dara and Ed just sit in a pub drinking Guinness (or some other stereotype) and making each other laugh, they’ve known each other so long that they work perfectly together. Unless it’s already being done as a podcast?
That's kind of done with Alan Davies As Yet Untitled (they get the name of each episode from a bit someone says) but I'd love to see Ed and Dara on it together
@@oliviadaly4795 yes I’ve seen most, if not all, of those. They generally work brilliantly. Ed and Dara need a show along the lines of the Fishing one Whitehouse and Mortimer do.
Im watching this, realising I haven't had a good group laugh in a long time (even before covid). like the kind where everyone can just relax, and then noone can breathe cos the shit you're saying is just outrageous yet good. I love this skit so much, and everyone in it.
Thousandth like! Seriously this show gives me life! I was feeling really sad one day so I watched this and the Private Browsing video and was laughing my head off!
"The Sovereign also has dominion over all dolphins in British waters. The Queen owns all the sturgeons, whales, and dolphins in the waters around the UK, which dates back to a statute from 1324, during the reign of King Edward II. " They are not too far from the truth.
I have been watching this series since 2009 and there is never, ever a dull moment to be had. I am always excited and curious to see what shenanigans the panelists will get up to all due to one word, a single joke, and then BOOM pure gold.
That’s what I was wondering. I would say “maybe they aren’t allowed to show the royals?” But they had no problem showing it on tv, and this is the mock the week TH-cam channel
Wanted to post the same question. Circumstances like this it is usually a rights issue. Maybe the photo publisher doesn't want this image widely available. For some reason BBC is notorious about content outside UK.
Kinda like how QI had a hard time with going overseas. The image walls had images reportedly only OK for use in the UK, but not elsewhere. Now it's probably changed or something was worked out where now there are official clips on TH-cam.
International licensing. The picture is licensed for use on that show in the UK, but not for an international viewing audience. They would have to pay for the rights to use it that way. Welcome to the world of idiotic copyright laws.
Dara and Ed really are the perfect combination. This and Private Browsing.
There's a sequence where Dara and Ed remember the time Dara was taken home drunk by the police, disturbing Ed's beauty sleep. It's very, very funny.
I would love to see a bunch of these guys play "cards against humanity" with each other
Or Farming Simulator!
@button1ginger1 ahh I want to watch that! Do you know which episode that was? Love Ed. Him on WILTY talking about finding a steak pie in his pants after being hungover 😂
Ed is so unfunny it hurts.
It's not just the harp business - I am vastly amused by how Dara and Ed can reduce each other to helpless giggles and tears of merriment... ❤❤❤
The Naked Harpist is up there with Private Browsing and Princess Monaco of Kent as some of the best clips of Mock The Week
Don't forget monsoon poultry hospital
God, I almost DIED LAUGHING with Private Browsing and Monsoon Poultry Hospital.
I really liked the clip about Hugh and Chessington World of Adventures.
@@romainsavioz5466 Clear!
The one where they were talking about the monkey who took that selfie. That was hilarious too xD

I like how Katherine is quiet the whole time only to swoop in and land the perfect closing joke.
@Pete Jones eww
@Pete Jones the eww was directed at you it's 2020 there's more to women on tv than being gorgeous
Both your guy with the organ pun and Katherine with her pun were terrible. The funniest part of the bit may have been "is there a MAAAHN here!?"

Later on in scenes we'd like to see:
Unlikely small ads:
Josh Widdicombe: 'For sale, one harp. Really, really used.'
Did he do that?
@@TequilaToothpick Can confirm he did.

When they riff on a joke and build on it as a group you get comic gold.
The banter is so authentic, you really know they're friends
Ed’s “Baby! Play ‘em something!” always kills me.
That's when I lost it
I can never open a private browsing tab or hear about private browsing without saying "private browsing" in Dara's voice and saluting.
Honestly the best part of this bit is just how much they're cracking up as well.
Putting Ed in the show is a guaranteed good show. Such great chemistry with Dara.
"Well, that's the NATO summit covered" gets me eeeeveeery time 😂

I love the sudden delivery of "No, they would dance as I played."
one of the best ones is where Dara is teasing ed,,and Ed goes,,"Best Man at his wedding i was",,,,so funny,,
I can't believe how incredibly well they riff och each other. It just goes on and on endlessly! Brilliant
Ed and Dara when they're on together quite often own the shown
This is straight up one of the best scenes in British comedy history
Irish comedy history.
It's a British TV channel. We're far too politically correct to ask each team member if they're British. 😂
This couldn't be more Irish if it tried, Dara and Ed riffing and the rest of them trying to keep up. Glorious stuff.
Except all the British comedians were a bit shit during it. I mean Hugh’s Prince of Whales joke was met with dead silence.
Man, Dara rocks! A Beastmaster joke followed by a throw away mention of a Medieval middle English poem,
Of course the first in line to the British throne is the head of all whales.
Why do you think France used to have the dauphin?
Dara: “I might buy it someday!” 3:38 😆😂
I think this could well be my most favourite segment from all of Mock the Week. Crying with laughter every time I watch it.
I have never seen a panel on any show have so much fun and laugh so deeply.
Went from coverage of the NATO summit to playing the harp with your twig-and-berries.
This show, man......
"What's the matter, Britain? Too much TRUTH for ya??"
Can we not have a show in which Ed and Dara just get drunk on a couch and have a laugh like that?
They do commentaries on each other's dvds while drinking.
It’s so good to see people just laughing hysterically! 😂
Seriously, I could just watch Dara and Ed all day. I don't care what they talk about.
This is a TV classic.
I think Gary's joke about playing stairway to heaven got under appreciated there.
Something amazing about some of the UK's top comedian just laughing their ass off on a playing the harp naked joke.
That’s what happens when you hang out with your best friend!
Dara and Ed are Irish🤩
"He's not the prince of all whales" lmao xD
Comic timing of Katherine is spot on with her final very dry comment. And she's a good sport, as the lads are ... well being lads :)

The Prince of Whales 😄

That would really sound funny if paired with the segment where Trump called Charles the Prince of Whales.

Why is the picture they keep cutting to censored?
