Due to an update changing taming times, times and quantity of food mentioned during that section are approximately halved.
Is there any easier way to tame a dire wolf without having to use much resources other than the kibble and other foods needed to tame the animal?
@o1:{}:1o I understand where you’re coming from, but I just had few of the needed resources in this video so I just wanted to see if there was a different way. Since the time out in between both of my replies to this comment, I have already tamed a pack of Dire wolves, this video did come in handy as well, though.

I recommend using a bola on direwolves than building a trap because the trap takes longer to build

I'm too much of a laze to make kibble, but I've noticed it's much more effective for taming than normal meat, mostly because of spoil time.
Having troubling locating notes, these boys n girls are gonna help me the heck out.

Altec it takes about 5 mins to tame a dire wolf while giving it raw meat btw sometimes they break wood or thatch walls so I would use stone walls

I tried taming one with my brother. The plan was to kill the rest of the wolves that we didn’t want and the one we wanted we picked up with an argy and we were going to bring it to base where we have a trap set for him. I was standing on a large rock when i started shooting the bad wolves but the rock wasn’t high enough. I fell into the pack of wolves which were around 5 or 6 creatures. My brother then picked me up and wanted to fly away with me but instead kept hovering above the wolves. I couldn’t do anything and died.

The dire wolf is a extinct canine it is one of the most popular prehistoric carnivores in North American along with its extinct competitor Smilodon the dire wolf lived in the Americas and Eastern Asia during the Late Pleistocene
And early Holocene epochs the size of it is
5 feet
and the trap was next level btw xD

I tame them another way, I pick one up with a argy and bring it somewhere safe, because I am too lazy to make a trap. Then I let it go after another dino while I boala it and tranq it.

😓so I made my own taming style which is taking my arge. Getting the direwold and flying it to my taming place... something knocked me off my mount then my poor level 130 arge suffered a crucial fate and got gang banged by carnos and wolfs😓 I am now in sorrow trying to get a decent mount so that I can tame a direwolf and hop into a cave
How do you get past the wooly mammoths always killing the non-alpha ones? Literally can't tame one because of it on Ragnorok. I don't think you can tame boosted/alphas, can you?

I tamed a pack if 10 dire wolves and DANG it sucks! They just cant stay together! One of em always has to be Lost! My suggestion if youre taming a pack is when going on runs only take like 2,3, or 4

People I just can’t take all of this time trying to tame stuff if it’s not a massive Dino. I just stand on top of my passive Rex and tranq stuff. They either attack the Rex or sit there and try to get to you.

There still isn’t any Ichthyornis in Mobile (which I’m not sure whether to say ‘thank goodness’ or ‘sadly’), and Alpha creatures are untamable.

I don't think you can pick wild dinosaurs with the argent anymore. I tried that on sabertooths nearly got me killed lol
Wild creature carry is on by default for PvP, off by default for PvE, and I don't know what the default is for Single Player, but it can easily be toggled on if it is off.
Why I can't grab untamed creature using argy? Is this a bug?
No, it's a setting that needs to be turned on if you're playing PvE, it's always on with PvP. If you're playing single player you'll either need to turn PvP on or find the setting for PvE carry wild creatures and turn that on

You can, but I recommend using prime, its a lot better
