    I used Lego MIndstorms to make a camera mount that rotates, it rotates on it's own axis, and not in an arc like yours, but you could adapt it easily to do this. For those that don't know Lego Mindstorms, comes with a programmable brick, with a microprocessor in it, and sensors. I used the push button sensor to rotate the mount one time every time I pressed the button. It being Lego it can't hold much weight so I could only get my webcam on it but it's not too bad as long as you have good lighting.

    You're seriously a one-man army and I love everything you do. Congratulation for this short! Is the crane homemade? I really wondered because I know you're talented and crazy enough to make that monster by yourself ahaha xd.

      @@edupuertasfruns thanks for reply! I planning to use it for regular filming, ads. I did stop motion only once (couple year ago) but watching all your video now! MRMC - too expensive for me, yet))). So building own slider with heads and looking for option to program movements with precision. (Arduino a bit weak as well as me to program it well).

    • @edupuertasfruns

      A lot of different materials...

    • @fruzsibalint8699
      @fruzsibalint8699 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      For example? do you use copper wire? or maybe another frame? cover it with material? why did not you use a gypsum? sorry for the many questions 😅

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use copper wire sometimes in hands, but most of times aluminium wire because it's propierties. Foam to cover it. Gypsum can be used for moulds but not to make a puppet as it is heavy can break and it is hard to animate it.

    Brilliant as usual! But I was wondering if it wasn't easier having the entire set revolving around itself while keeping the camera fixed and the puppet hovering. You would have spared the poor crane :)

    • @edupuertasfruns
      @edupuertasfruns  7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Moving the set is also a solution, the only problem is that then you also have to move the lights with the set... that would be a massive thing to move then. The crane will be fixed when I need it again, also I am planning to upgrade some parts that I don't like too much.
