I placed the photos on the layers palette numbered 1-100 and run the action but it says "Could not place the document because actions that reference files can only be played on the same platform on which they were recorded." What I'm missing? Thanks!!
Question: Is it possible to place a background in bulk? Like if I wanted all 100 images to be placed on the same backdrop after I've deleted the background?
it still works the same for me in windows 11 so im not sure why that error is coming up. Best thing i could suggest it testing the action folder with 3 pictures and recording the steps. It sounds like you may have left the recording on while editing and it might have record an extra step
Did you rename all the images 1 - 100? It's because the action needs a specific name for each one sonif you add a new picture without renaming it in the right order it won't know where that picture is

My error is saying the files can only be played on the same platform as which they were recorded. Would you know how to trouble shoot?

delete all make and place folder in action... Jump to show layer "(99)" or your last layer number then play it
im just here trying to figure out how you opened a photoshop file with no layers in the beginning
