Trinny, your clothing collection could be archived!! It is like a historical record of the ultimate items from the 1990s to present. Lucky Lyla to inherit your wardrobe. You are also so sweet in giving them away to your employees and to raise funds for a cause. I would LOVE a video on wardrobe management. Being organised is so liberating and ensures all items are visible and worn.
Omg am I the only one who would love a house tour...even the basement looks fabby lol 😆 please Trinny can we have a nosey round your house 🏠 pleeeeease lol xx
I love that all your clothes have a story, some more extravagant than others. I think we all have regretful purchases in our wardrobes that we can learn from. Buying on sale or colours and shapes that don’t suit us. It’s best to get rid of them rather than the constant guilt of the money we spent on something we didn’t wear. I bet the Trinny rail at the office clothing swap is a popular one!
Thank you for this amazing amount of sharing and for saying “I bought this, but I’ll never wear it”. I SO needed to hear that. You’re the best!!!!😍❤️🇨🇦👍👏🏼🇬🇧
I love the idea of archiving your collection. I see all of those beautiful dresses, and I would love to see them folded and beautiful acid tissue paper to preserve their beauty. If there’s anyone that can do that, I know it’s you! Loved this video!❤❤❤
Brilliant. Loved seeing all your amazing items. Some absolute gems. Wish I had storage to keep stuff for my daughter. She’s always asking why I didn’t keep stuff from the 90s and 00s.
I think there are two sorts of clothes in my wardrobe - the more every day ones and the quirky pieces I love and have loved - there are a lot of the latter that I have had more than 20 years. I don't wear them all the time, but several times a year. I loved them when I bought them, they still fit and if I'm bored I'll put them with other things. The everday ones consist of jeans, trousers, jumpers, t-shirts etc. This year I have bought colours that go well together in more neutral shades of grey, blue, cream and off-white for winter. I also intend to buy a few cashmere sweaters as they are warm, but I have some nice jumpers and when they get worn, they are then used 'around the house'. I got a couple of nice lounge sets in cotton with a bit of cashmere and can mix and match with other jumpers. But I think like you, my real love is coats. Your older shoes are beautiful but I couldn't see myself wearing them. I think as we get older in our fifties and sixties we want to look elegant but warmth and comfort are also factors. I'd point to some of the Italian designers who do this so well and use beautiful materials.
This is an incredible video! A journey through Trinny's life and choices. It makes me wonder about my own fashion history, which I can sometimes see in pictures.
As always I have learnt something that is not hold onto something that gave you joy but you look at it and think I am going to wear that and put it back into you closet or wordrob for another year I have only just started to let go and pass on garments that I have never worn and its like a weight has lifted but I seem to can't stop buying coats it's a disease 🤦🏽♀️
Uncanny how useful it is to hear your thought process! It’s pure inspiration to do the same. Granted the things had already made it to this ‘at risk’ rack but the speed at which you clip through - brilliant!
That Aztec print is actually a Pendleton blanket coat - it makes sense that you got it in Utah - I think it’s a chief Joseph pattern- it’s the only time I would consider a coat in that print is in the colours of that coat. So interesting that it is such a cool coat in the UK, truly looks like you could style it in a fabulous way - here in the Canadian west it wouldn’t be a cool coat.
Tribe Sale would be wonderful for staff. Your wardrobe is amazing, many pieces that I would have purchased myself. Keep culling, it is enjoyable to see the items. Cull Cull Cull.
I was quite excited to see a few things I own in Trinny’s wardrobe! I have a knock-off 😆 of the long check jacket, as well as about 1,000 of those lovely jumpers with the buttons up the cuffs (I used to sell those & they suit me). So much fun watching the wardrobe sorting 🥰
👄Trinny & team: Love hanging out❤️! Hearing some delightful history of your life & closet🤩. Adore how your vitality & enthusiasm bubbles over🥂. 🆒 Life is not stagnant 〰️ our taste, bodies & lifestyle change. Naturally, our style would evolve. Can 💯% relate to your Joan Collins' comments. 😬Had PTSD Dynasty📺 era looks when they were popular, but my 😘mummy loved them. Get periodic 💥flashbacks💥 when I see or try on certain sparkly items nowadays😱. 😉Your staff is fortunate to swap with your gorgeous gear. May you be blessed as you bless others with your kindness. 😁Bringing oodles of joy to the world🌎! 💚 Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)
Loving your style here in NYC. Looking forward to your next video. Oh, keep the green check suit in your last video, have your Taylor crop the pant and restyle the jacket into a crop top for that 60's look and wear it casually in the Summer. God Bless you and your team.
After watching this I now have a full bag of clothes ready to go to the charity shop ( and still not finished) It’s made me reevaluate the clothes in my wardrobe. I often hang onto items because of the money I spent on the very rarely worn item.
Always have to remember the three costs: Cost of purchase Cost of keeping/managing Cost of mental energy The money is already gone but keeping things and needing to have space for them and to manage them can be a big drain and then the mental and/or emotional energy when you see something in your wardrobe that you’re not sure about you end up asking yourself dozens of times should I keep it or not, can I find it a new home, can I sell it, why did I spend that money on it etc. I’ve twice regretted getting rid of something but mostly I haven’t even thought of the item again. I’m also writing this comment because I’m about to cull and I needed to remind myself of it again.
Love seeing your wardrobe. I recently got a sleeveless top in Zara similar to your fab silver Dries Von Noten one, but in forest green. Totally inspired by you and I love it.
I have tried over the years to keep clothes and shoes for my two daughters but without success. Neither of them turned out as tall as me and their taste is rather more classic than my boho vibe. It is a shame when beautiful clothes have no where personal to go! But those kids refuse to follow in our footsteps!!!
I have almost no clothes (30 pieces, coat included) and I want to invest in quality pieces. My goal is to have 30 pieces I love for autumn/winter and the same number for spring/summer. Since I live in Canada, I want to have about 10 coats. Probably 20 footwear. The incredible thing is that I am in a moment in my life when I have almost nothing in my closet and money to create almost from scratch, because most of what I own is pretty worn out. So I'll just take my time building my style slowly. I thought about starting by buying 2 outfits that mix and match together. Than later on, I'll buy 2 other outfits that fit with the two I bought and so on. Doesn't mean it needs to be all beige. It just needs to fit together in some way. I'm quite excited about this project. Any suggestions?
Tranny your since of style is unstoppable you are very kind to everyone that's great. I watch you and um so happy learn alot never change a dam thing about you your a diamond in the ruff .. and that's in the best way to say it to someone I don't know but keep making me laugh ve fashion and your funny as ever.. best wishes for you and your family.....
Yes I'm always getting rid of stuff. My wardrobe is 1 small double door wardrobe. My main thing is practically + summer heat. I love winter or long sleeve dressing but it's so bloody hot. So I'm still trying to find those pieces I love yet are practical.
I wear white tights under white “show all” trousers. But, you have such a vast wardrobe, you don’t really need to make things work, you probably have something similar that does work better.
Wow, super decisive - well done. What I really need is one of those long silver sparkly gilets worn by your sales team over Christmas....... where can I get one??
Just an idea about the fabulous footwear in the basement, it seems such a shame that it is not being enjoyed or appreciated right now. Have you thought about donating or loaning it to fashion colleges or Uni courses around UK or Europe to inspire the next generation of fashion designers?
Love love love this and Trinny!! My problem is that I buy items because I love them and they give me happiness. I have a hard time getting rid of these things over the years because I genuinely still love the items… my house is bursting at the seams (I’ve also recently moved to a bigger house) and I have no more space for anything. I NEED YIUR HELP!! Please come to my house and help me go through everything because I want to keep it all! :)
Trini I am a loyal friend of yours from the USA and I would love it if you could make your sale available to the US as well somehow I would love to have one of your treasures I would love to purchase one of your treasures it would be the delight of my life I love you so much you’re an inspiration and my name is Kimberly blessings for the new year and please keep more content coming I look for you on a daily basis XOXO
I made and go for tailor for alot of my clothes (coz in my country, tailoring is cheap) But then every pieces is an emotional pieces and fitted my not so standard body. That's so hard to get rid of them... but many pieces I know im not this person anymore...
I also have been buying too many clothes, especially online during the pandemic, have you ever tried to control your wardrobe purchasing? It’s not a criticism at all, I was just curious. You have a lot more storage space and better brands than me, but you do seem to buy a lot of fast-fashion that you pass on. I always considered my clothes passion a harmless vice, but have recently been trying to reduce buying non-biodegradable and non-recyclable items and save money, too. Also, better fabrics, like silk, have more intrinsic value, so are more likely to be re-used than another polyester top.
Hi. If I were every time i bought a new item this year I would give 5 away from my wardrobe...! And have an evening with those unwanted items to sell to raise money for a charity ....! Have a good day decluttering Catherine
Sorry I've to confess you keep a lot of junk, get rid of it now and keep only what suits Trin y in this time and age, you're gorgeous don't forget that😉
Please, if it's possible donate what u don't want to Thrift haven in Springfield Missouri. We'd really appreciate it. The profits help to organizations to dress and feed the ones in need. Thanks.

So good, that you keep the checked Coat. I like it with the trousers you are wearing!

The Jesse Weston honestly looked great with what you were wearing already!
Your boiler room is like a museum!
This was fun to watch. Some pieces I wouldn’t get rid of them! Molly is drooling over some things please let her have first dibs!🦋
I love the idea of archiving your collection. I see all of those beautiful dresses, and I would love to see them folded and beautiful acid tissue paper to preserve their beauty. If there’s anyone that can do that, I know it’s you! Loved this video!❤❤❤

So much fun. True gift. Going to my closet and taking a donation today. I commit to one box ! Love to you Trinny 💕
This is so interesting seeing all your treasures from over the years, and seeing the reasoning behind getting rid of certain things.
I think there are two sorts of clothes in my wardrobe - the more every day ones and the quirky pieces I love and have loved - there

Missed seeing you over holidays. Brilliant return. Fascinating to see your treasures😊💕
I love your approach to clothing Trinny. It's comforting to know you make mistakes too. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. I'm always learning from you.
This is an incredible video! A journey through Trinny's life and choices. It makes me wonder about my own fashion history, which I can sometimes see in pictures.

Ahh this is part two…but we never saw the ‘maybe’ outfits from part one, and the new ways of wearing things? That would be so good to see!!
Thank God you saved the Rixo mermaid dress. I remember when you did it on Friday twinning and it looks amazing on you!
Love to see your fashion world, great video, great team. Congratulations Trinny.
Very good idea for the next time : How to organise a wardrobe as you said ! Thank you once more Trinny.
Just wear the second coat, it is lovely. You don't need an excuse. Best wishes for the New Year.
never have I clicked faster! Love you TRINNY ❤️😊
Oh god what a treat! Love going through your wardrobe. Beautiful pieces and I love that you really love each piece too.
You can hear Molly dying over what she knows she's getting dibs on!! Team Tribe perks look worth moving to the UK for, are you hiring? 🤣
If she is hiring ...am going over there in a jiffy
just adore Trinny's silver top mind you, i just love her lol xxxx
I love that green coat
Love it! This video has brighten my day in a difficult period of my life. Thanks a lot!

Yes!!! A tribe sale love the idea, make it available to subscribers 🤩
Your killing me 😂 I’m 41 and just found the exact loose fitting 90s jeans exact colour I had when I was 16 and I just bought corduroy again 😂
Such amazing clothes. I’m hopefully moving soon so I need to go through my cupboards and decide what to keep.

Such a fun episode, brilliant happy world of Trinny! 👏💕You have unique character, so honest and joyful and I can't help but smile.😍♥
Trinny I think you look great with cold red!!! ❤️
Great outfit Trinny... you look happy and relaxed and contemporary in the grey suit and fluffy wonder :)
I never knew you were a Marni fan! I also cannot get rid of her pieces - even 20 years on.
14:59: the black lace Christian Le Croix skirt would be perfect for a Goth!
17:05: the same with the corsets.
The Utah coat 😍

Lovely, classic coats. I wonder if you could do a ‘All time favourites’ closet confessions?
Brilliant and inspiring. Off to my wardrobe I go!….
I would just play dress-up all day if I was in your home :)
I wouldnt. I would bring a large suitcase and wear running shoes!
@@pheart2381 🤣🤣🤣
Fabulous example of a much needed cull. I loooooved the aztec print coat. Let me know if it goes on you sale.
Wait... The coat with the camo lining!!!!!

Nooooooooo! Please don't make the wonderful turquoise dress a skirt!!! Pleaaaaaase. The color ist just wonderful!!!
😀😀😀👍👍👍
I like you in green 🤔
You DO NOT look terrible in red. Remember your make up
I wish i was your daughter
The girls in your office over size 12 won’t get a look in!
I don’t like the outfit you are wearing. It’s not flattering. Why so enormous trousers. Why are you hiding your beautiful body shape...?
Gee you've bought some awful things! Just like the rest of us!
The amount of stuff here is causing me stress. Weird.
I love the trousers you have on in this....where are they from ?
