I finally found a bun i like and can do easily right out of the shower!!! This one really will just need 1 hair tie with, NO bobbie pins, and it's a simple casual cute style and it looks good on me without looking like a strict business woman! It's not a tight bun and it feels a little loose at first but frankly it's the right feel for me: not too loose and tight enough to feel secure. And it's comfortable!! (I have to see if it'll still be comfortable in the car and lasts through my day for lab class though. I hope it will) The hardest thing is a lot of twisting of the hair, need a pretty stetchy hairtie especially if you have thick hair, and the hardest part is feeling for the hairtie and tucking the ends in. Plus your arms might get tired if you're like me and just never tried buns til now. But with practice, it's worth it 😁
Seriously top contender for my bridal updo. I want to do my own hair and makeup and do a messy curly updo and this would be perfect. Thank you for the video!!
@@kayluhluh6973 it's definitely a giant knot, but you can untangle them without ripping out a bunch of hair, you just have to be gentle and patient. I get far more knots in my hair by leaving it down than any kind of messy intentional knot I create to keep it all out of the way.
