I remember the video that you bought the Ghost Busters figurines! Well, not the Santa ones. I love all these short reviews again :) I pretty much watched ALL your videos.
the contents of the boxes are exactly the same just arranged differently. A lot of times you can still find these in toys r us because they where so expensive and toys r us never marks anything down to actually sell the items to get rid of them.
@Carnage6X I have the ONLY two sets I've ever seen. The First set has no Santa Hats inside at all, I Checked. The character positions in the boxes are totally different. On TheToyChannel is the video showing me actually buying them!
Really wished they released some good looking Ghostbusters figures for us regular people to buy. These and the Matty Collector ones were the only ones AFAIK that looked like the actors but they're really expensive. Why couldn't they have just done a normal line of these figures for the 25th anniversary?
Maybe I'm wrong but I thought it was just a packaging variation. One set has them with Santa hats on and the other has the hats in the box but not on their heads.
Hated the Stanz likeness. I think the santas were the originally intended version and the hats off (didn't a Mattel guy say the hats would be included in the package?) was a variant. Shame to just leave them in box since they display pretty nicely. Definitely worth the $50 since the normal movie masters stuff was like $13 at retail singlecarded and the Ghostbusters movie masters, online exclusives, were going for $20 each.
''i dont buy these for the collector value, i just buy them because i love them'' well said great sir
