I love this low-commitment and just laid-back approach to making content, I'll always be here to listen to your bookish rambles whenever you feel up for it! Hope this year will be a wonderful reading year for you. Thanks for all the fun over the years 🥰🥰
I love the idea of a “mood content creator”! These days social media is all about quantity over quality and I just hate it. The attention economy has gotten out of control. I totally respect and support you taking a break when you want/need to. Honestly I think I even prefer that. When people post when they want to, I think it shines through in their content and you can feel it’s more genuine. I wish more creators did that (although I know the algorithm doesn’t support that 🙁)
Yeah, social media is not designed with mental wellbeing in mind🙄 My channel probably won't grow much this year since I'll be more inconsistent (which the algorithm hates) but it will have greater longevity if I don't burn myself out🤷♀️ Thanks for watching!
I can relate to being a mood reader and a mood content creator, with being on instagram. I logged out of instagram just over a week ago and don't plan to go back until March. I needed to detox. I really enjoy your videos so I'm happy no matter what you do. As for reading, I plan on reading a few Westerns this year. I read Lonesome Dove a couple of years ago and it became my all time favourite book and I'd like to read more in that style. Other than that, I'll see what comes :)
I am not a content creator, but if I was I would definitely be a mood content creator, so I can really see how well that could work. I love your videos and the way you talk about books, so I look forward to whatever 2024 ! I also understand the completely hypnotic power of social media and I think breaks are really necessary for mental health. All in all, thank you for all you put out on your channel. It is very valued ❤ As for my goals, my main two are 1. Less pressure, just enjoy 2. To finish more series. Like you, I always used to binge through a series and I love the rich emersion of that experience. Over the past few years, I seem to hop from one thing to the other much more. I guess that's the downside of social media...too many opinions 🤷 Anyway, wishing you all the best for a fantastic 2024 reading year!!
I really love your content and I hope you're able to find just the right rythym for your content in the upcoming year. Looking forward to following your reading journey in 2024!
I also have a very loose intention to read nonfiction more consistently! I tend to read it in fits and starts and I just want to get in the habit of spreading it out more through the year haha
Historical fiction is definitely a genre I want to read more of since I absolutely loved a lot of historical fantasy already 😁 and yay to mood content creating, I definitely want to bring more creativity to my content again (I'm on Instagram)! 🥰

Taking Instagram off my phone was definitly the right move for me. I hope your Instagram detox is restorative for you as well!

I am also hoping a love of historical fantasy will help me bridge the gap to reading more historical fiction😁
