Hey man, I used to live in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, for three years. Let me tell you, I absolutely adore this place, the food, the people, you name it. Plus, there's a sizable community of Americans here too. There's just something special about Georgia that makes it feel like home to me. It's not only incredibly safe but also has this cool, 'artsy' vibe that I can't get enough of. As a Swede, I'm more than happy to get back there and keep calling this city my home for at least another five years. During my time here, I've made some amazing friends who I miss dearly. Honestly, I never expected to create so many wonderful memories in this place. While Georgians might not be as wealthy as some Central Europeans, they definitely deserve all the attention they've been getting lately. Georgian country and culture are true hidden gems, imho.
As a Georgian, I am so so glad you liked it here 🩷🩷🩷 we are literally fighting against our government but we all hope we win and get our place in eu! GEORGIAN WILL NEVER BE RUSSIA!!!! 🇬🇪🩷🇪🇺
@Jokull_1987 I'm really glad that you liked my country and she makes you feel as in home, thank you for your heartwarming words. Greetings from Georgia❤🤍❤🤍
As a georgian , i want to thank you for sincere emotions towards our dishes bro, but one tip to you, try adjarian khachapuri when its still hot or at least warm enough for butter and cheese to be in molten condition, and dont forget to mix them(stir them well to make one mass), and trust me, the taste is gonna boost like a god level 😅 respect 💪
Dude, this khachapuri is already cold. It will taste much better in a restaurant. If you really want to try Georgian cuisine, you should go to a Georgian restaurant. This is truly one of the best cuisines in the world

Yea, those dipping sauces are for that chicken “mtsvadi’’ (kebab as you called it), not for those dumplings, but you live and you learn 😂❤️ glad that more people are trying food from my country 🥹
First, I just wanted to say that I’ve been a silent supporter of yours for so long, but I have a deep love for Georgian food (and the respectful people) as a New Yorker. We have so many great Georgian restaurants out here with top tier eats and hospitality! Also, I’m a woman who is very ambitious and find it to be the opposite for me when dating. Every man is not mentally equipped to handle a woman who cannot provide them undivided attention 24/7 or stop everything else we have going on to cater to their needs. That’s why it’s so desirable to have someone who is even more ambitious and respects each other’s time & dedication to our goals, while also being selfless when necessary.
And yes it’s so important to not confuse ambition for blinding reality or neglecting our personal relationships. Love your thoughts on this, as well as your passion for football. I’ll shut up now lmao
Shut up new york you taste georgisn food if you not why are you saying georgian food is bad answer new york fantastic cuz what you like your country and saying that for your country have great foods new york is famous but all guys is bad in new york and georgian all guys is hosters and good country it is and why you are saying that man for you like georgian food what you want he likes whatever he wants okay

My husband and I tried this restaurant a couple of months ago and we loved the food. I love your reactions when you try something you haven't tried before and find that you really like it. We were the same way trying everything!

I mean im georgian and when i ended watching video i was smiling bc of compliments that u gave to our food i really apreciate it and nobody deserves resprect for us more than u❤❤❤❤
I can tell you one thing you did great, I am a huge Alabama crimson Tide fan. I live down south. I'm on crimson Tide all the way, what Nick Saban accomplished I do not sing anybody ever can repeat. Also I absolutely agree. Great woman behind the great man. Going to make a whole lot different. On this beautiful Note, I'm still a Georgian Thank you for reviewing Georgian food. Believe me it's just the portion you have, if I back in North Jersey we should definitely get together. I'll give you a tour of Georgian food, It's a lot more than that. But honestly thank you. Small Nation. Very proud. Very humble and always keep in mind for us. Guests is gift from God.
The love and respect you gave to the outbound coaches... big-ups King. Also kid, what you said about life; getting better... your personal struggles. That was seriously real. Losing my Mom. How we got thru as a family... my personal goals. It's all good, but I appreciate you specifically called out how difficult things can be in this life overall.
All that food looks fantastic. A massive W all the way around. And what a huge slice of Napoleon! Thanks for taking us on the journey and exposing us to the wonders of Georgian cuisine.
I am so glad you enjoyed the food! We are friends with the owner and his wife (he was our fencing coach - he was a Georgian champion epee fencer!). The food is incredible, the history is amazing, the people are kind, generous, and fierce. The food is unbelievably delicious, and you are right - lots of influence from the Silk Road, from Turkey, from Greece, from all over.
That looks really good better than we have out here in Cali. I just made Khachapuri and Khinkali for one of my sons team mate that we’re hosting from Tbilisi, Georgia 🇬🇪 his 6’10” 16 years old . I had trouble with the dough the folding. It was my first time making it so it isn’t perfect but, the filling taste as he would say “ nice” 😂 also, with the Khachapuri I used pizza dough and cheese was feta, ricotta and mozzarella. He was grateful that I tried making it for him. He eats like there’s no tomorrow and his staying with us for 2 years. Any suggestions on what type of food I can make to keep him full for hours?
Search for "Mchadi" recipe on the internet, it's easy enough to make and with some salty cheese can be really comforting to eat. Also every Georgian loves Mchadi and Cheese.
Really so amazing video, thanks for sharing my country culture, because dor us food is also an art of our culture! All the best to you and your loved ones! 💓🙏🇬🇪🤟
2 tips Adjaruli khachapuri u need to mix middle area (use fork) for couple seconds maybe minutes and than go for it it will be way better 2nd khinkali u give first bite to it and than drink the liquid in it and than eat

Fellow Georgian here! Just a little correction, Napoleon cake is originally from France and is called mille-feuille or "the thousand sheets". Anyway, thanks for the delightful commentary and review. Sadly, I've never tried Adjarian Khachapuri..hope I can have it someday despite struggling with anorexia 😔❤

Thanks for the review on Georgian food broski it’s the best cuisine in the world hands down, also get you a wife that when you say your making a video she’ll support your business and grow stronger together 💙🙏🏼
As a Georgian, I love how you pronounce the names of the Georgian food, excellent. :D About Khinkali, you hold it by the tip, bite a little bit and drink the juice, then eat the whole thing, also Khinkali pairs greatly with apple vinegar. Also, you did eat Adjarian khachapuri correctly, (mostly :D). first, you just mix the egg-cheese-butter top and then grab the bread part and dip it inside ...... If you love garlic, you should try Skmeruli, fried chicken in milk and garlic source :)
as a georgian personally I love this video, we don't mind mispronunciation and dipping khinkali into that sauce I think was smart and a good twist, we haven't thought of that, thank you for this amazing video.
As a fellow Georgian dipping khinkali in sauce was CRAZY but i was impressed he came up with it 😂 I love the video as well he definitely knows how to eat good!
Georgian food is very delicious. It is an integral part of Russian/Ukrainian/Belorussian/Caucasian/Central Asian, etc. cuisine of the whole region (ex. Soviet Union). It's like Italian cuisine in the US - you come across it everywhere in Russia, starting from street food to fancy restaurants. Every Russian housewife who can cook a bit knows several good recipes of Georgian food. They use a lot of fresh greens - dill, parsley, estragon, and CELANTRO. The latter is a particular green that provides Georgian cuisine style. Just add Georgian nature/mountains, Georgian national songs and dances - and you will open a whole new world. Also, the most popular Georgian spice is wide used by millions of people - khmeli-suneli (хмели-сунели) - it's a special blend of different spices used in many dishes from meat to fish and to beans. You can buy it in every Russian/Polish food store in the US. As far as the cake, Napoleon, it belongs to Russian cuisine, but as soon as a lot of dishes have mixed up in the former Soviet Union, it can well be called Georgian as well. And it seems that this one is of classic recipe (I tried some Napoleon cakes from American stores such as Cermak and others - they were different) - definitely the Boston cake type of cream (eggs, milk, sugar, bit of flower - all taken to a boil plus some butter).
HEEELLL yea man, glad you liked our food dude, love ya, i would gladly be waiting for you to come down here! There is more food you have to try man, you will get the better experience here
Hey there! Love your video to introduce Georgian food to me. I find Georgian culture amazing! Sharing with you how I’d eat my dumplings - I’d bite off a bit then drink the soup before eating the rest of it. In Singapore, our soup dumplings are called ‘Xiao Long Bao’ and we normally dip it in vinegar with freshly julienned ginger. Much love to all my fellow foodies! ❤ from Singapore
Last weekend invited my friends over we had Adjaruli khachpuri and Khinkali - you should have seen their faces, just like you in video! They fell in heaven! 😂😊 Thank you for kind words, im so happy that more and more people gets familiar with Georgian cuisine. It is truly one of the best
Thank you so much for introducing me to this joint. I've been looking for Georgian food since I moved back Jersey side. They'll be seeing me a lot..if you're ever in the city and want Georgian food, try SAPERAVI (formerly known as Mealz) on 14th Street. Their Megruli Khachapuri is insane.
your gerogian is good. big respect from georgia🇬🇪🇬🇪🇬🇪 and it’s not only food georgian wine is one of the greatest in the world and its nature is stunning you definitely have to visit the country i promise it will be a wonderful experience and you will not regret it
I'm so happy seeing foreigners try georgian food! I'm glad you liked it! The plum sauce Is called Tkemali, it goes well with everything ahah! You should definitely visit Georgia one day and experience all the tastiness upfront❤❤
First of all, hello from Georgia, i'm so glad u liked our food, here's the thing, please don't eat khinkali with some sauces anymore 😅 we eat with black pepper and it's just perfect just by itself (plus black pepper), thank u 🙌❤
Thank you so much from Georgia!! Adjaruli Khachapuri has a specific way of eating! next time try mixing butter, egg and cheese inside with a fork and eat it that way. You’ll enjoy it way more❤️ that’s the correct way to eat it✨❣️
These are made in restaurant by young chefs but nothing compares to traditional dishes which are made by georgian grandma's and grandpa's. Their dishes taste amazing, btw thanks for respecting the way you eat our food.
You're acrually eating everything correctly which is amazing, i was like My man when you loved our best dish Khinkali and gave it 9.2 ❤️ i'm saying this with all my heart, you made my day and i haven't even finished the video. Love from Georgia ❤❤
I am glad that you liked our food. Georgia is waiting for you to see beautiful and amazing places. There are many wonderful places in Georgia, for example, Svaneti with its towers and mountains, the seaside city of Batumi, Tusheti . We are waiting for you with great joy. ❤😊
Bro you've GOT TO make Shkmeruli at home if you cannot visit Georgia. Just Google the recipe - with sour cream and milk. And make sure to put a lot of garlic. It will blow your mind
The amazing taste of Georgian dishes is determined by the fact that the products grown in my country have a sharp aroma, natural products grown in moderately subtropical nature, if you want to understand the real taste of Georgian dishes, you should visit Georgia, if you want to understand the real aroma of fruits, vegetables and meat, eat the products grown on Georgian soil.❤️❤️😋🥰 #kingschratz I love you ❤️😘
So true man, im from Georgia but did not even feel that way, you made mistake while saying those words? And what? You aint georgian, of course you will make mistake and it's alright❤😊 you tried your best and that matters the most. i also liked the video instantly because i like seeing people who are talking about my country❤and ur personality is so cool in my eyes, good luck with your channel❤
I love Napoleon cake! In some places they also making it with cranberry or lingonberry jam - the tartness tastes divine! If you ever get a chance, also try a Honey cake - it is really good too!
glad you liked the food as a georgian myself we barey get any attention so thanks for making it bigger and also i think you would love our history bc it seems like a fairytale and also if you talk to a kid that is the age of 8-13 80 % of them know english and if youtalk to an adult (mostly 50-70 yr olds) they all know russian and in between they know both but not as good as the ages i mentioned but glad you liked the food and you earned a sub 😊
Hey! So glad to see you reviewing my country food. If you ever plan to visit Georgia, I’ll be happy to host you and show you around. Warnning. It’s gonna be super tasty and you are risking to move her 😂
my friend you ate the acharuli khachapuri (აჭარული ხაჭაპური) correctly you just need to mix everything together along with the cheese so it doesn't drip, some don't put eggs or butter but uhh yeah. for the khinkali you gotta take a small bite and suck the broth out, we don't usually use dip it in anything but the plum sauce is not real plums it's a certain fruit which is translated to plum in english, it's called tkhemali (ტყემალი), both the dip and fruit. but im glad you like our food :)

Georgia is not integral part of russia! Russia ocupied Georgia in 1921!!!😡
it doesn't have to do anything with countries you mentioned. it just become popular in those countries durning soviet times.
olgaluna6447 u are pure good post soviet country person ^^

You shouldn't dip Khinkali (dumplings) into those sauces. Sauces were served to dip the Mtsvadi (roasted meat)❤
This is good man 😂 10:27
I love that we get geography and history lessons on this channel 😍😍😍😍😍😍
with the khachipuri u mix the middle together with the bread and just take the bred off and dip it all the way until only the center is left ))

These are made in restaurant by young chefs but nothing compares to traditional dishes which are made by georgian grandma's and grandpa's. Their dishes taste amazing, btw thanks for respecting the way you eat our food.

You should eat Khinkali with black pepper and nothing more. It's perfect with beer
The amazing taste of Georgian dishes is determined by the fact that the products grown in my country have a sharp aroma, natural products grown in moderately subtropical nature, if you want to understand the real taste of Georgian dishes, you should visit Georgia, if you want to understand the real aroma of fruits, vegetables and meat, eat the products grown on Georgian soil.❤️❤️😋🥰 #kingschratz I love you ❤️😘

glad you liked the food as a georgian myself we barey get any attention so thanks for making it bigger and also i think you would love our history bc it seems like a fairytale and also if you talk to a kid that is the age of 8-13 80 % of them know english and if youtalk to an adult (mostly 50-70 yr olds) they all know russian and in between they know both but not as good as the ages i mentioned but glad you liked the food and you earned a sub 😊

When food makes you giggle and wiggle, you know it’s good.
Georgian food is the most delicious brother, I'm glad you liked it, greetings from Georgia. გამარჯობა! 🇬🇪🖐️
my friend you ate the acharuli khachapuri (აჭარული ხაჭაპური) correctly you just need to mix everything together along with the cheese so it doesn't drip, some don't put eggs or butter but uhh yeah. for the khinkali you gotta take a small bite and suck the broth out, we don't usually use dip it in anything but the plum sauce is not real plums it's a certain fruit which is translated to plum in english, it's called tkhemali (ტყემალი), both the dip and fruit. but im glad you like our food :)
Have you heard about the Argonauts? They went to Colchis for the Golden Fleece. Colchis is Georgia
