I had joined JGLS this year in August. I spent 2-3 weeks there and then finally left the university. Though the infrastructure, faculty, academics and education were unequivocally excellent and they most definitely resembled the global standards in terms of any and every aspect, yet the primary reason as to why i left the place was due to massively gigantic crowd and that too, cramped into triple-sharing rooms. Both of the roommates whom i had were extremely filthy, spoilt, lacked fundamental civility and sanity in terms of various manners and hence, they in turn made my life severely miserable and traumatizing there. The moment i was inside the room, it felt like a trillion times worse than literal hell. They used to leave the bathroom a gigantic mess, would leave the light on and talked loudly on the phone till upto 3 a.m. midnight, touch and use my belingings without asking me, kept all of their stuff at my space of the room, etc. And were overall extremely curt and rude towards me. One of those dirtbags WAS IN FACT A CHRONIC SMOKER and additionally was gravely uncivilized, lacked a sound brain and was especially gravely abusive towards myself individually. When i went to seek help from the Warden about all of this, they were not at all able to handle the situation by an ounce. ( rather he consistently kept on hurling abuses directed towards me right in front of the Warden, and yet, the Warden kept silent and wasn't able to do anything at all.) Eventually, due to primarily the university's system's drastic failure in protecting a student's fundamental rights, dignity and esteem, the only way out for me was to leave the college. So i did that only. There most certainly does exist tremendously severe substance abuse as well as massively insolent and spoilt students at this university. Due to which, i was left with no other choice but to leave the university and destroy my academic and career prospects entirely. Because i wasn't being able to handle the constant abuse and ill-treatment by the huge crowd there. Hence, my future got set back. Due to the gravely atrocious students on campus. *NOTE* :- The above is a brief account of what all I personally underwent on this particular campus. These are real facts being stated about my specific situation there. I would be open to comments, suggestions, questions, etc. *AS LONG AS THEY ARE FUNDAMENTALLY CIVIL, SANE AND RESPECTFUL* Thank you very much.
Hello Shawngoodplace, Your comment was an enjoyable read, obviously you have been well protected from the real world, and you lack a great many necessary skills in dealing with people. In the real world, you will have to deal with people who smoke, never brush their teeth, snore so loud you can hear them three doors down from your room. Get ready for friends who need money, get drunk and puke on you and your things, get ready to have things stolen, broken, and destroyed. You really need to grow up fast, because these are the same kinds of people you will have to work with. I would suggest you forgo school, go into the military and learn about, dirt, sweat and tears. Learn how to get along, that is the real education you need right now. Good Luck with your life, Raven

Hi, do a large number of students go for further studies and not sit for the placements? I was looking at the Jindal placement documents and out of some 300 students, only 80+ students sat for the placements. Would love if you could throw some light on that. Also, how helpful is the office of career services with respect to internship opportunities? Can we easily get internships as they say or is there a bit of competition? Are you also planning to pursue any research opportunities in Jindal? Thanks in advance !
So for the first question, yes, many students choose to study firther and not sit for the placements. For OCS, they provide you with numerous internship opportunities both inside and outside of college and thus you get plently options however there is a lot of competition and so securing one can be a little difficult.
