I love the style of constantly handing off the solos in shorter bursts, letting everyone shine. Combining the bass and drum solo into one was also a nice touch in a question and answer format kind of thing

With her talent, her joy of playing, and the beautiful smile on her face, Chizraru should upfront always!
I'm a drummer who was considered "fun to watch" since age ten. When one of my bands pushed me to the back (because that's where drummers supposedly belong), fans actually wrote and complained! I was moved to the front that month. Chizaru is that kind of performer. She looks like she is having the most fun out of everyone else in the band. As a musician of 60 years, I have learned that musicianship always matters... but JOY onstage can't be bought or taught... but it fills venues! Think of Fats Domino, Billy Preston, or Pharrell Williams... Was it their musicianship or their demeanor that attracted you? I love this music and the women who play it so expertly... but I'm always watching for that rare shot of Chizaru.

Ami is as good as anyone else and Miku can make the tenor sax growl and squawk. They are all top caliber players or Senri wouldn’t be playing with them.

@@SteveG123 this whole band is top flight. I had discovered Senri at the beginning of the pandemic, maybe before but as life gor going again, I lost track. Seeing the Avengers evolve from the Senri 7 was enlightening. These women know their jazz history and are doing some of the best modern jazz, in my opinion, period. Great stuff

Wow that was nice I love the arrangement the brass section and the guitar kept the Rhythm alive and the drums and the bass keeping it in the pocket keeping the funk love you ladies keep up the good work.
It is always a great pleasure to watch JAZZ AVENGERS.. Senri and Juna bring together a soul that is pure Groove in the presentations and the brass girls are superb... Marie always with great elegance and Chizuru parading all her talent... congratulations
