I love how even after the little "creppy" moment killer still realized the still have a little part of feeling who are with the whole murder time trio team and with this (adorable and caring) boss :)
The fact that he trys to hide it from Nightmare, who can litteraly sense his emotions, is just too funny.

Don’t ignore the fact he denied that deal thousands of times. Don’t ignore the fact he was tortured until he just gave up.
It wasn’t as simple as just “going crazy” or whatever. Chara wasn’t taking no for answer; Killer said ‘no’ over and over, and was punished for it.

Chara proved they weren’t taking no for an answer.
But you know who did have a choice? Dust. HE’S the one who chose to become what he is; NOT Killer. Chara tortured him for literal years, all because they were bored and wanted to see what would happen.
Chara decided they wanted to make Sans become like them, no matter if Sans wanted that or not. To the point where they literally infected Sans’ soul with Determination. And now Killer can’t even tell who he is anymore.
Killer canonically can be saved. He canonically can still feel, and Nightmare canonically prevents that from happening for his own benefit.

Because of his soul and his code. Chara/the Player made him like that, by altering his code and corrupting his soul.
As his creator said, Killer!Sans only exists because of Chara/the Player. Chara/the Player wanted him to become an emotionless killer, so in his eyes, he’s just doing what Chara/the Player made him to do and want him to do. And it doesn’t help that, in the Good ending where Killer wants to be better, Nightmare actively goes out of his way to prevent his soul from being fixed and thus prevents him from improving.

I mean yeah being stuck in one place and having to see everyone arround you KILLED off by a fucked up toddler over and over for god knows how long can make anyone desprete to get out that hell even if it means killing his own brother and then everyone else and then finnaly killing the toddler that kept him in that hell to make the pain stop and so it did he dosn't feel the pain anymore no regrets no sadness no hate no empathy no love and NO mercy killers soul even reflects thats he might be one of the sadest sanses in the multiverse but he dosn't see it that way for him its nothing for he feels nothing where his feelings should be is now just an empty void sometimes he might feel something but only for a brief moment and this is probebly also what keeps him sane not feeling anything if he did he most likely would go insane when he feels all the regrets that he suppresed for so long.
