I love how they took the darker turn for the good characters because dream was never proven I believe to be truly genuinely good he just wants poeple to be happy no matter what leading poeple to think he's good it's very possible he would lie and manipulate to make someone Happy so it's not to crazy for alternate multiverse dream to actually be like that.
