A few additional points: First, notice what I didn’t discuss in this video: supplements. The truth is, if you don’t have visible abs right now, supplements aren’t going to be the magic solution to get you there. That’s not to say supplements are useless, but as the name implies, they’re meant to be in addition to already solid, effective habits. So, I wouldn’t worry about supplements, especially if you’re just starting out. If anything, keep a quality protein powder handy to help hit your protein targets, but even that isn’t absolutely essential-just convenient for many people. Second, for most people who aren’t using performance-enhancing drugs, you essentially have to decide what kind of physique you want: do you want to look more jacked with your shirt on or off? What I mean is that, for most natural lifters, you can choose to be “super” at one thing: either being very lean or very muscular. Of course, you can be both, but there’s generally a trade-off. If you want to be super lean-like six-pack abs lean-then chances are you won’t be the biggest guy in the gym. You can still be muscular, but you won’t be “bulky”-think more along the lines of a Fight Club physique. On the other hand, if you want to be bulkier, don’t expect to have a shredded six-pack. You’ll fill out your shirt more, but you probably won’t have that super-defined midsection. I just think it’s really important to have the right mindset and expectations, so you don’t end up chasing gimmicks or false hope! OK, happy training, friends, and Strong ON! - Pat P.S. Awesome, I also grabbed your 'kettlebell workouts that are trying to kill you" package (which I think comes with ab workouts, so this video came at a great time 🙂)
@@proverbs11vs30 nice! And that’s right-we’re including 15 direct core focused routines. Honestly, it’s a great collection for getting some of the habits discussed in this video into practice. You’re gonna love it. 💪
I have just bought an ab mat which supports my spine when doing ab exercises. I think it's a great addition and would recommend buying one. Thanks for posting your videos.
