I'm only 34 minutes in but I thought I'd say! The Last Tale Of The Flower Bride is one of my favourite books of all time, it's gorgeously written, the gothic vibes are perfection, the story is amazing, ugh! I absolutely adored it

The Discovery of Witches is my favourite series - excited for the new release in July! - but I agree with all that you said about Shadow of Night. If you like Marcus - Time’s Convert is your book!
I hadn't seen the new one had a release date yet! Now to try and figure out if I need to go reread the first ones cause it's been like 5 years.....
Oh if you haven't read Winter's Orbit it's fantastic! It's a SF romance with slow burn arranged marriage, although it does have a murder mystery so you might not love that. If you decide not to pick it up for that reason, she has another SF romance that's also a pretty slow burn that doesn't have the murder mystery component.
Shadow Of Night is one of my favourite books EVER!!! I cannot WAIT for The Blackbird Oracle to release this summer!!!
Thrillers are so interesting to me because I have rated several 5 stars but I can't remember what happened??? And A Flicker in the Dark is one of those. I read it maybe 6 months to 1 year ago and I remember NOTHING about it, but I loved it when I read it so it got 5 stars

I love how the renovation turned out! That light is gorgeous. And so happy to hear you enjoyed the Fallout show! My April reading month crashed and burned after the release.. Somehow I ended up reinstalling all of the games and have been dabbling instead of reading 🙃
If u always unhaul thriller books maybe just get them from the library. But it's also fun to put them in little free libraries afterwards too 📚

Shadow of Night was definitely my least favorite of the trilogy. I really enjoyed parts of it, but Harkness' historian background didn't really come into play as much as I wanted it to. And I had to read the same arguments over and over again, so many times it drove me NUTS.
