    This was so good to see because I was going back and forth between which one to get! Pro tip, I love the idea of the paper wraps, they can be used to wrap small gifts or as tissue paper in bags for gifts!! 😂

    This is just want I needed, a side by side of the two!

      Yeah! I’ve tried both and the 100% recycled is way too thin. It always leaves behind pieces. I’ve used the Bamboo for a year now and it’s been great. Plus their packaging is great. Well except for the pieces of tape it comes with.

    This is exactly what I needed, buying the bamboo roll

    These cost $70 now! How can anyone afford that these days? I want to help the environment but that’s a lot of money to ask for toilet paper

      The $70 one is there “Where’s The Loo” edition which is a special wrapping which is why it’s more expensive . It’s like I SPY but with a toilet lol. Their regular paper for the bamboo is $44 for 24 rolls and $68 for the 48 rolls. Damn i guess it did go up because I’ve had my subscription for a year and i pay 57.20 every 2-3 months for a family of 4. Three of them being women so we use a lot of paper. So for one year I received 7 boxes sometimes 48 rolls sometimes 24 but total was 312 rolls. I spent $368.5/ year which is about $1.18/per roll, $30.70/month, and $7.09/week. If I would have bought the POM toilet paper from Sams club which is $23.48 for 45 rolls I would have spent $162.79/year which is $0.52/roll and a difference of $205.71/year . So yeah I would have saved but it’s only a $17.14/ month save which is $4/week. To me it’s worth spending the extra $205 and just not eat out once a month and instead save those $20 to put towards buying a more sustainable toilet paper which I know is helping people. Also I was looking into getting a bidet for the restrooms so that will cut down on toilet paper. I still have to figure out what is more sustainable and cost effective since we would be using more water. For me it makes sense to get this paper. Now you can do your calculations and see how much you spend on paper now. Also I do not recommend their 100% recycled paper. When I tried it out it was way too thin.

    Wonder if you could use the paper that the toilet paper is wrapped in as decorative tissue in gift bags 🤔

    Is one plus of the recycled roll that it will break down / dissolve better (which would be safer for plumbing / clogs)?

    • @WasteRectified
      @WasteRectified  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Both are safe for plumbing and shouldn't cause clogs if used correctly. That said-- yes, based on my own observations, the recycled roll does seem to break down faster. Hope that's helpful!

    I heard that they’re made in China. I’m just trying to make sense lol If I want sustainable, I’d rather have it made in US

    The recycled roll is imo unusable. I literally have pieces of it stuck all over my nether regions. Absolute fail as a product.
