Do not try to hold your tears and do not apologies all the time! That shows your kind, sensitive and emotional personality which means that you are a strong feeling person!!!
Home Free are an amazing band....this is a great intro into how good they are....those harmonies are almost unequaled in acapella music...please look into some of their more upbeat musical offerings....Meet in the middle, Catch me if you can, Take me home, country roads....and their awesome How Great Thou Art. Sister in Christ thank you for your raw & true reaction. PLEASE watch & react to more of Home Free
Hi, Liam's Mom. I am David's Mom. I sent my first-born son to Iraq in 2003 with the United States Marine Corps. I know all too well how this song can affect you. It makes me cry, too. Thankfully, my boy came home safely.
Yes it is a moving song, to be sure, moving sentiment and theme. So of course you're emotional, that means the song was successful and you were open to it, so good for you.
Home Free is an “a cappella” band and this is a cover song of the Vince Gill hit. It’s so beautifully done. That was the young boy’s grandpa and the grandpa lost his brother. The younger couple was the grandpa and wife when they were young and he went to war. Home Free has a lot of songs. You might like How Great Thou Art, Heaven, Die a Happy Man.
GREAT REACTION-GOD BLESS YOU. Thank you for being a compassionate person, We all feel loss, pain and emotions when we lose loved ones and see their life ended here on earth. But that is not the end of our existence if you are a beliver in Jesus Christ.
you probably dont give a shit but if you guys are stoned like me atm then you can stream pretty much all the latest movies on Instaflixxer. Have been binge watching with my girlfriend recently =)
This song was written by Vince Gill. You want a tear jerker. Watch the version of Vince Gill/Patty Loveless at George Jones funeral service at the Grand Ole Opery.
No need to apologize. I cry every time I hear this song. I come from a military family and this always hits hard. Home Free is a capella and sings original songs and covers (like this was). Try “Blue Ain’t Your Color” or “Take Me Home Country Roads”
It starts with the folding of the flag. At a military funeral the flag that draped th coffin is folded like this and presented to the family. Great reaction. It was perfect for this song
yes i imagine how it was painful even just seing them folding the flag there already deep emotion in it. That us 2hy i have to rest a bit i was really move witb that song
@@MamaAiReactions mine too.. i was in the Army and lost a few friends over there in Iraq, so this song hits me really hard. Thank you for this beautiful video, youre amazing.
Yes thare acapella with a beatboxer, but he sings too when not beatboxing like he did in this song. They are known for their great harmonies. The grandpa is sharing memories to his grandson of the war and how his brother died in that war. The soldier was the grandpa.
This cover of Vince Gill's masterpiece jerks the tears from my eyes every time. I have also lost many friends in combat and it moves me to see the other peoples pain. I raise a toast: To absent comrades and fallen friends. Fair winds and following seas, brothers and sisters. OORAH!
Hello Steven sorry for your lost snd thank God for giving you strength and protecting you l this is how we are in this world facing heartache yet I believe God is in control let's trust in Him. I will check out Vince for sure
Please do not ever try and hold back your tears! They are beautiful! It may sound strange, but I feel there is a simple beauty in tears and sorrow. It is a pure, POWERFUL emotion that helps to keep us together and brings us together as humans. Not to say that being sad is always great, but that the rawness and intensity of its expression can help remind us what it is to be human. Of course, tears of joy are just as beautiful as tears of sorrow, if not even moreso.
Like two hundred ninety four.. dami mong iyak sissy.. mas naiyak ako sa reactions mo..totoo very moving yung songs specifically the story.. kahit ako teary eyed too.. gang matapos talaga ang clip iyak pa more tayo sissy..

PLEASE listen to more.. If I know my Home Free family well, they have already given you suggestions of music. LOL Thanks for the reaction
thanks a lot for warm welcome to this amazing acapella band that really touch my heart, and thanks for Introducing me their names and thier voices capacity in singing. For me personally its such blessing of hearing them, have a blesses to you Marla and Happy mothers day
Do not feel bad for feeling emotional. I cried throughout the entire video. I resonate well because I lost my brother in the Gulf War in 2005. It makes me think of him and is sacrifice he made for all of us. God bless you dear and never apologize for your beautiful heart.
My dad was in the military when he met my mom in the Philippines. Although I love the original artist, this video hits harder for me because I have a more personal relationship to the story. I hope you love Home Free as much as I’ve grown to enjoy them.
Mis. the metal dog tags were brought home and given to the wife or family because the person died in combat the letter that the grandparent was holding was the letter from the military saying that his son had died.
My sweet Grandma who was my world, lost her first son, Bill at age 19 during this war. She never recovered especially with her last born son(which my son is named after, Vaughn) after serving in the Vietnam War.
You are not alone in your emotionoal reaction to this video/song by Home Free. I've watched this video from Home Free's channel along with many different reacters such as yourself. Most of them had the same emotional reaction as you. This song being sung by Home Free still brings out the same emotional response within me even after listening to it more than a dozen times. Home Free's voices harmonize so well together and whether the song is an emotional one such as this, or one that is full of fun and laughter. Each member's voice can stand alone by itself but works so well with each other. Again, I love watching the reacter so that I can hear their words but also see how their bodies react. Thank you for your beautiful and emotional reaction.
This song was originally written & performed by Vince Gill for his brother who passed away. Him doing this song at the with Patty Loveless at the grand ole opry in honor of George Jones. Vince gets all broken up singing it. The message is powerful. Now another great country song that is emotional would be "Believe" by Brooks & Dunn.
This song really gets me too. My grandpa passed away about a week ago and we actually played this version of the song at his funeral because I love Home Free and my grandpa loved this song. Before he passed I would always listen to this because it's so beautiful, but now I can't listen to it without crying.
I can't imagine how painful that Ashley notvseing our love ones anymore on earth but we pray that one day we will be part in the heavenly place where Jesus prepared to His people
I have two uncles in the US and both were in Korea. I am German and was in Kosovo. What is better now? My uncles are proud of me because, like them, I defended the free world back then. Am I worth less just because I'm German?

I have yet to see a reactor who doesn't at least get a little teary-eyed at this song. It's just that kind of song. You'll get lots of requests for songs of theirs to do, but honestly none of their songs are bad. Feel free to just pick one that looks interesting. A lot of reactors do the same set of songs, so it's always great to see a reaction to a song that's not gotten as much attention. I would advise against listening to "Mayday" or "Snow Globe" till you're more familiar with their voices and what they usually sing. They mix it up in those songs, so those songs are more fun to listen to with a bit of experience first. One last piece of advice -- there are a lot of Home Fries (Home Free fans) and they can get really overenthusiastic and a bit overwhelming when they find a new reactor. Don't feel like you have to rush to immediately fulfill every request. Go at your own pace and enjoy.
The Grandfather told his brother's wife that he was killed in action and placed his dogtags on the picture. Later his Grandson places the dogtags on the headstone.
I've started to watch 2 of your reactions. Your mike volume is much louder than the video you're reacting to and it makes it difficult to listen. If you're going to comment (and that's what you're there for), pause the video instead of talking over it. It makes it impossible to figure out what you're referring to.
it seem you didn't watch till the end because i am not talking about its only in the intro short expressions may in the video but infact I am not able to speak here it was deep but anyway thanks for your remarks
