You know I'm here for this! It is my favorite song from this home free. Another one that hits me personally. Being a fourth generation vet, my dad taught me how to fold a flag properly when I was a child. I didn't know how much it meant until I became order and started seeing them. Like my dad's and my older brothers. One day my son will be handed mine.

When I was a young adult, I mistakenly thought wars of those magnitudes were a thing of the past, but apparently people don't learn so quick. I'm getting to be an old now, but if it gets ugly, I'll stand with you!
Vince Gill started writing this beautiful song for his brother then finished it for his best friend. He first sang it, with the help of 2 other friends, at his friend's funeral. I guarantee both of you will shed tears if you watch the video from that funeral performance. Vince barely made it through the song and only finished with the help of his 2 friends. Please watch that video! 💔 😢

This song gets to me every time I hear it. I have two nephews who served in Iraq. Thank God they came home to us. Thanks to all the vets for their service.

Another great reaction...this song was written by Vince Gill for his brother who passed. He performed it at the Memorial Service of George Jones...very emotional.

I really like the way they incorporated "Amazing Grace" into this song, You may also like the video of Vince Gill and Patty Loveless singing this at George Jones's funeral. Vince Gill wrote the song. He started it when his brother died and finished it when a friend and fellow musician died. In the video I mentioned Vice does a bit of a guitar solo which was not planned. It was to help try to hold it to getter during the performance.
This song always makes me think of my father, a WW II veteran. I was stationed in Virginia when he died and did not make it bake to Baltimore until 15 minutes after he died.

Brother It makes me so sad to say this but the person who said you must be a druggie is going from outward appearance. and doesn't know you or your good soul. People pass judgement on people that they don't really know. I've been married 58 years and we were teenaged dummies but we are still together. A lot of troubles and heartaches and 5 children later here we are taking care of each other and counting our blessings. 10 grand children and and 5 great grand children, and a lot of love.

Such a beautiful, sad song. Their singing, harmonies & beatboxing are truly incomparable. Some other songs I think you'd really enjoy are a collaboration between them & the Oak Ridge Boys of "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" and a collaboration with Texas Hill of "Go Tell It On the Mountain".

Ignore the people that fell you should look a certain way if you're a Christian. They are more concerned about religion than relationship with Jesus. All over the Bible it talks about how God looks at the heart. That person may not be able to do that and has missed one of the major teachings in the Bible about how God loves his children and criticize those who judge based on superficial things like appearance. He also misses the teaching about what comes out of the mouth is a reflection of the heart. The words that come out of both of you show where your heart is.
And BTW, there are many people that will be MORE receptive to you because you don't look like what that guy "thinks" you should look like. So keep being the way you are.< because God loves you the way you are.
This version is good, but Vince Gills is better.
