After 13 years using Wordpress and dealing with ACF and everything else, this is an absurd game changer. The ease with which I can move and manipulate data from the backend to the frontend... the clarity and ease with which I can understand this process from you guys is unmatched.

My question:
I want to build a dashboard that is intuitive for my clients. Something that has an app-like interface where they could log in and see all this information, etc.
Also, need to redirect the client to a specific page where he would see all this info.

Good question regarding how to highlight certain items using a repeater. You said you can do so with code. Any examples? I would need to access the item being iterated and I am not sure Wix gives you this level of control.

Can you have nested list pages. In the properties example you showed , what if you have say featured rent properties and featured buy properties. From landing page User choses "featured rent property" it should take user to list of featured rent properties and from there user can choose specific featured rent property. Can it be done?
Hi there, we're glad you asked. Yes, it can be done as following:
1. Set up a collection with properties that have 2 categories: Rent and sale
2. Create 3 Dynamic pages - A- Item page - to display property pag, B - List page for properties which are for rent, C- List page for properties that are for sale.
3. For list pages apply a dataset filter to display proper list
4. On the home page add the repeater and link each button to the relevant List pages.

Hello, of course, here are the steps that you would need to follow:
1. Set up a collection of items
2. Create an Item page for those items
3. Add tab component
4. Attach a repeater to each tab
5. Connect each repeater to a different dataset
6. Filter the dataset based on the tab category.
7. Link the repeater's button to the Item page

Is it possible to make a repeater section that has a filter menu? For example if I want to show a list of creatives (designers, art directors, writers, etc) and I wanted to give the user the choice to only view the designers, could they click a menu item "designers" and it will only show designers?
Basically I want to make a dynamic list that can be filtered.
If not, is there a way to create this?

It is intended for the classic Editor and Editor X, but the process is nearly the same for Studio.

How does seo work in this case _ Because normally static pages have the BASIC SEO and advanced SEO section, Where we can add our own meta description and SCHEMA all of those things to make it more searchable on google.. Do we have the same benefit in case of dynamic pages

Can I add two buttons to the dynamic pages: one button for an external link and one button for my products in my store? Thanks.
Hi Tiffany, yes, this is achievable.
To get the desired result:
1. For the external link: Connect the button Click action to a collection URL field
2. For the link that opens the product: Connect the button Click action to the product collection.
- Make sure that Wix Apps collections are enabled
- Add a dataset to the page and connect it to Stores/Products collection
- Connect the button Click action to Product Page URL

What happens to a field if it is left blank? Will the content move up when a field doesn't have any info in it? For example let's say that there is a field for a video and an image. If one just fills in one of the fields, like a video but not the image what happens to the image field? Does it display as a blank area on the item page or does the content below it move up?
Hi there. This will leave a blank area. However, you can add additional code to implement the logic that if it is blank, to automatically collapse the component.

Could you tell me why I can no longer find a Dynamic Value for 'line items'? I used to have 'line items' as a option but no longer. Now, my automated email (Order Confirmation) which needs to display what items were actually ordered, does not show this anymore.

You show a media/image gallery, but it does not show up on the website - how do you get the media gallery to show up on the website?
Hey Kelsey, thanks for bringing this to our attention. With the Wix Pro Gallery, you can showcase image, video and text content side by side in your multimedia Pro Gallery. Upload your own media, add content from the Wix Libraries, and embed videos from TH-cam and Vimeo. That is it, I am done with Wix Studio. A great concept but just doesn't work. The CMS rubbish, following it to the letter. inputing my own content only for half of it not to appear on the dynamic page. VERY VERY POOR!!!!!! Back to Webflow it is......
