I've been really frustrated with Editor X limitations and the lack of updates to it recently, but now i understand the long silence. Having the ability to customize css and backend honestly fixes 99% of problems i had with Editor X, not only is the Editor much more user friendly now, after stress testing it, it also seems more optimized and less laggy with a lot of elements on a page. Adding an IDE is also very much appreciated. I'm not sponsored by Wix or anything, just wanted to give credit where credit is due, well done! (though i still wish we could edit the wix stores product page even more, like customizing the price formatting indicating if the price is for a set of items or a single item, and having the currency behind the price numbers. Also adding an Upload button in product options.)
It's decent, but absolutely ridiculous that these features were not patched into their already existing products. I've been using complicated regex functions as a work around to manually remove and edit the css in editor x. I had to pay for a premium plan for MONTHS in development because the ability to do what I was doing could only be done with a custom domain and a premium plan. Now they release a new product that attempts to do what the first "advanced" editor should have done from day one. And it still doesn't even allow you to do basic things. It is very frustrating.
This has been an extremely helpful tutorial. However, I wish that it had more practical use cases like the following: >> Applying background colors >> Setting background graphics to containers (i.e., would I reference my uploaded image by using its link in my assets library) >> Styling links for different regions of the website >> Using SASS variables Again, I really appreciate your video. So far, out of the videos I've watched on Wix Studio and custom CSS, yours was the least complicated. I have enough information to move forward with testing this feature.

Amazing platform, i would like to know, in the matter of choosing colors, instructor did go to the Web quite of few times. How in the world knew the correct one.? Again in the case if i want to elaborade a site for a mental health therapist, where shall i go to fetch the right graphics.?

how to make a vertical gallery with css code? I would like the "recommended products" gallery to be vertical. it works as a check element in the browser. but it seems that it is impossible to code.

My editor looks nothing like this. I see a "Dev Mode" menu item at the top. When enabled, the Page Code button on the sidebar opens a list of pages and masterpage.js, but nothing about CSS. Clicking the + only shows Add Page and Add Router. Is there an updated version of this video? I want to use a css file, but all my searches about where to do that lead to this video, or documentation that tells me how great css is.
Is it possible you are working in the classic Wix editor? In this case we'd recommend having our customer care team take a look. Nice! Can finally do some of the design things I've been wanting to do for things. Now I just need to understand CSS a little better. Love the blurs and Z-index stuff. This is glorious to be able to do this stuff finally. And do styling globally, etc. It's weird to me though....if the properties panel is controlling the CSS properties...why can't we just edit ALL the CSS from the properties panel? It'd be nice to just have EVERYTHING in the properties panel.
Hi. The properties panel serves as a Velo panel and a CSS panel. Separating the code from the properties panels is a UI decision based on how CSS is correctly coded. Both the Velo and CSS panels in Wix Studio are used to create coding more friendly by utilizing shortcuts and links for references.

You can create a vertical container, add a repeater, and fill each with a photo or video. Repeaters can be connected to a CMS collection.
Hmm after adding code the CSS selection is not shown on my site. What am I doing wrong? Do I need a payed subscription to have access to it?

Is it possible to apply CSS to Wix Blogs when displaying lists/collections on various website pages?
