Hi beautiful souls! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful comments - I truly appreciate them ❤️ I try to read and answer as many as possible, and know that I’m just so thankful that you take from your valuable time to do so ❤️ Love & light!
Dear Eirin! What a superb presentation of your trip! It was good to see you moving around. You sure got some good news! So hopefully you'll be back upright soon without as much pain. No bones in pressure sore is great. The exercises looked strong but good for your body. Sorry you didn't feel well. A lot of prayers for your continued recovery so you can get stronger! Seems likes you are on the mend. This was awesome! I got to see Norway😊 Thanks for sharing!!! Be well soon ❤🙏🙏🙏🌹
Hi Eirin!!! So...glad that you made it back home safely, and that your reports are going so well. I hope that we will see you sitting more often soon.....taking it slow of course, so you don't over do things. I enjoyed your video very much....your sense of humor is appreciated :) Welcome back! I'll be watching, and hoping you continue to do so well. Kind regards, M.
You are such a positive inspiration for me and others. You have a beautiful heart and soul, Steiner too. So proud and happy things are going well and will continue to. With love from South Carolina USA.
Hi Beautiful soul 💫 I loved the video . Beautiful scenic views., especially the water. I’m so glad that your stay at the hospital was productive. I. Just want to tell you Eirin, that you are the strongest, bravest, and kindest person that I know! Keep shining 🌟
You look and sound fantastic. So much more mobile then your usual videos. I am so happy you are doing well and your kind husband is taking such good care of you. God Bless you both and your mom. It looks so beautiful there. We are still freezing our butts off here in Massachusetts. The afternoons are beautiful but still frost on the windshields in the morning.
Eirin.... Had to comment again because your posts are so real .... Thank you for taking us on your very personal journey..... Stay strong .... Keep us posted .... And I think your living room looks lovely by the way ..... Well done Mom ❤
Eirin, I didn't know I would enjoy your hospital trip so much! You are such a brilliant young lady and you are able to explain everything so succintly. I am so very happy you have a lovely hospital facility with a hotel and the medical team seems really knowledgeable and supportive also. Sorry you felt so nauseous and unwell after the massage. It is wonderful you are hopeful and life is more balanced for you. It is also comforting that you have people like Steinar and your mom as support. You are all beautiful souls. 🥰I love you all. Cheering you on from California, USA.
Thank you so much for the video I know at times it must’ve been hard to do. I absolutely love the scenery on your trip. I know how hard this trip must’ve been for you. My husband and I are in the same situation as you so I know some of the challenges that you have I’m so glad your future looks a lot brighter. Hang in there keep that beautiful smile on your face you bring so much joy to my life and I thank you for that.
So very thankful that you and your husband tolerated the trip as well as could be expected. It's always good to get back home! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. You both are in my thoughts and prayers.💗💗
Hi Eirin, Thank you so much for your update, so glad that it was mostly good news! I just wanted to ensure that you were aware of the drug called Pamidronate, my son used to have monthly infusions of it, and it helped greatly with his bone density. My beautiful son had severe cerebral palsy (spastic quadraplegia) and had bone density issues due to him not being able to weight bear. The pamidronate helped him so much. You are probably already aware of it, but I just wanted to make sure. Your endocrine specialist may be able to help, I believe there are even more options available now as well. We lost my beautiful boy 7 years ago, but he lives on in my heart and spirit. Your positive attitude and empathy for others remind me of him a great deal. Thank you for sharing your lives with us, I always look forward to your updates, and am sending lots of love and positive thoughts from Australia xo
Wow. So interesting, so grateful to know more about you. I have such respect for the wonderful, calm way you deal with life in general. Beautiful scenery. Love your snacks. As an American, I am amazed at the waiting times for patients in European countries. So happy to see you getting what you need. Ferries can be a hard to handle. I've been known to get sea-sick lol. Stay well. Elizabeth from NYC.
Thank you for taking us along with you! I'm so glad this hospital visit gave you some real relief and hope. (And that hospital is like nothing I've seen here in the US!) Physical therapy really is no joke, right? Nearly 20 years ago, I had six months of PT after a car accident, and I still remember how tired I was after every session. Here's hoping it gets easier and that you have more and more good days. Stay well!
🤗 thank you for including us in your travels. I love your enthusiasm about your visit to the spinal hospital. It seems many of your prayers have been answered. I pray you continue to heal and improve. You, too, are a beautiful soul.
Eirin it is so nice to see you posting again! I missed you! I learn so much from your videos, but also I just love your vibe. I could listen to you read the dictionary, haha :D
Looking forward to your continued mobility. I’ll be praying for a solution to your bone density issue. Norway is beautiful! Thanks for sharing your trip. Love to you, Steinar, Thor, and Mom. ❤
Wow , Thank You for Showing What You go threw , You are a strong Person, Keep up the Fight ❤💪❤ I just had a total Knee Replacement Your Video has motivated Me , Thank You again for Sharing 💚💪💚
Hi from Tennessee, U.S. This is my first time here. My grandfather, Thor, was from Bergen. I never knew him; he was 16 years older than my Swedish grandma.
Eirin! Thank you for hosting my first trip to Norway, it’s beautiful, clean, colorful and the sea was your friend as well. Glad to hear you can begin to work on standing a bit and also add some chair time as well. Thor was otherwise engaged in his evening meal but you know he will make an appearance when he is in need of attention from his parents! What a great trip!
Was thinking of you recently and wondering how you were doing. It was perfect timing to see your video in my feed while I was having tea. Thank you for sharing your trip with us. Your videography skills are fine. : ) It is always fun to see different places. The best to you both & to Thor. (He missed you. He just can hide it well.)
Such beautiful scenery. I love to travel and have gone on several road trips with my aunt across the US. I'm glad to know that you have gotten some answers and a path forward. It's also nice to see you were able to keep your sense of humor through the tough parts.
I loved Norway. I was there on a cruise a few years ago. Stopped in Bergen and it was gorgeous (as were the rest of the stops as well). The views you showed definitely brought back those memories! I’m glad you had a positive visit.
Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us! The scenery looked beautiful!❤😊. It sounds like you got some very good news, and some mediocre news, but no really bad news. That means a lot! I do have a question though. Did you say standing exercises? I’m not sure what you mean by that. Even though you have your days where you get down, it seems like more of your days will be up!❤😊❤. I just about spit out my coffee when you said that about the wedgie!! That was hilarious!!😅😅. I hope you get some rest and recovery from your trip, and thank you Steiner for helping take us so long!😊❤
I can be raised in an upright position, using a bed or bench with tilt function. Using padded straps over the hips, knees and chest, so that I’m «locked» in that position 👍❤️😃 This is good for bones, circulation, digestion, muscles etc.
That was awesome, thank you for sharing!! Truly enjoyed seeing the scenery and I’ve never been on a ferry, so that was neat, too. Best wishes to you 💗☀️
That was very interesting, thank you! Trying to take in all the details of scenery, architecture etc. The facility's awesome 👍. Love your humour 😂 plus Steinar chuckling and giggling in the off 🤣. Tell him cemetries are only scary in Steven King novels 🤨. You seem ok now? I take it that overall these are good health news? Hang in there, love ❤ Thank you for inspiring us ❤!
What a beautiful trip. Thanks for sharing it. I love the looks of your country. so very pretty. I'm glad you are able to sit up again. I know it had to get boring in bed so much. Will pray that you will get where you will be able to stand again. I know that would be awesome for you. Thor is a handsome guy!!!
Erin what a beautiful clean country too bad this hospital is far this physical therapy seems sensible stretching you makes sense too bad you can’t get this at home ty for sharing you are soo special❤
Thank you ❤️🇳🇴 I can get physical therapy at home, but not by people who are specialized in spinal-cord injuries, so it was nice to get a check-up in Bergen 👍😃
Hi Eirin, thanks for sharing your journey with us. The scenery was beautiful! Everything seemed to go very well. You had some great news after the CT scan. It looks like you’ll be able to sit in your chair, you just have to keep an eye out that you don’t get pressure sores. Funny your mum did some redecorating while you were gone 😂 it looked really nice. Thor was happy to see you and Steinar, in his own way 😂 Thanks, again for sharing 💖🥰💖
🙏❤ Bless you Eirin - thanks for taking us along. I assume you managed to shake off whatever germ you caught at the hospital. Or they just wore you out. 🙏🙏
That was so interesting and fun to go on your trip with you! I can imagine how good it was for you to get out and see the scenery. Yes, that looks like Norway! 😊 I’m glad that on the whole it was good news, especially that you can be up sitting more and enjoying your home. Your kitty is so big! He’s adorable. I also have a kitty 🐈⬛
A hospital with a hotel sounds nice. The views are amazing from the journey there and from the hospital. I just had a colonoscopy and indoscopy. I have Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis. My doctor's office called and I have an appointment this coming week. I had a high fever for a couple of days. So something is going on. I hope your blood pressure stabilizes. I'm glad you are able to continue your standing exercises. And no colonoscopy was great news. The prep is awful. Norway is so beautiful. Is it like this most of the year?
Thanks for the great video! I feel such joy …you seem so much better and hopeful. I think the trip and more eyes/ doctors , tests, therapies etc are great for keeping on top of things. Wishing you all best from 🇨🇦 Canada!
I enjoyed the landscape video shots, my husband is partially Norwegian and Swedish. Glad your trip provided some answers and generally went well, except the side effects of physical therapy. I am going to receive an infusion of a medication sometime this year due to bone demineralization that has followed breast cancer treatment. Wishing the best for you, and congratulations on getting to sit up!😊
You got sooo much good help and information to help you this is Fantastic!!! It would be wonderful to make a yearly trip if that is possible? They gave you quite a beat down too. I laughed hard when you said that, whoever said back rubs feel good, you want to find them and give them a wedgie😅😂😂. I do not think I would like them either and have never had one. It would seem to me I made the right decision two years ago when, my husband got me as a birthday gift of an hour long backrub🥴 I told him to use it Lol! I got dinner and show as my replacement 🎁 I'm Sooo GRATEFUL to see how well you have recovered from this week as it definitely looked grueling. I Admire Your Courage and Perseverance with such a Joyful disposition. Eirin You Truly are an Inspiration🌞🌅✨✨✨🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🕊️🦚🐦🦢 Sooo Much Love to you Eirin with lots of Hugs too💝🥰🤗🤗🤗Thank you Sooo Much for sharing with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for this lovely and funny comment! 😁❤️ I can’t go yearly, sadly. I’m supposed to only come every 5 years, but I can apply earlier if needed 😊
I was happy to see the hospital videos as I am an OT working in home care. I am looking forward to seeing the exercise program you learned from your OT!
Hey y'all from South Carolina USA 💕👋🏼 Your positivity and humor is just what I needed after a long day of work- you, your husband, and kitties are too cute 🤗 Glad you're doing well! My mom is from Vienna Austria and as someone who's been extremely lucky enough to go to Europe a lot (to visit family but we always take a side trip to another country while we're there) I can say without a doubt that Europe is one of if not the most beautiful places on earth 😍 I also have Sweden and Denmark ancestry (going by my DNA tests it's 10% but sadly I haven't been able to pin point those ancestors yet but hopefully I do one day.. who knows we might be related 😉) Thanks for sharing 😊
I was very sad to see you so miserable on Thursday (I hope you didn't have to miss any important sessions). But praise God for an uplifting trip overall! ❤
Thank you so much for sharing your trip with us. Definitely good to hear positive results from your doctors. I can imagine it was good just getting the chance to get out and enjoy the change in routine. Such beautiful scenery! ❤
Omg I LOL’ed at the “whoever said massages are good I want to find them and give them a wedgie.” 😂😂😂😂 I so felt that one. I’ve had massage near my parts of my spine that are messed up and it’s truly Wwe body slam added with PT. I did pt for post op spine surgery and it would always make me come out looking exactly like you. Hot, red faced, nausea on the way home in the car and some days in tears. Turns out they had me in a therapy program that was a hit over my need level and so painful and stressful and rough. It was made more for people who need to go back to labor jobs and I had to do a little circuit training where I had to carry a bucket of bricks, get down oh my hands and knees to do some exercise I forget, then walk up a ladder and back down, do some upper body pulley weights and a few others and then a walk down their hall and I had to do multiple rounds of this with post op recovery pain and would get woozy and dizzy on the ladder so it was scary to me. The bricks though only a few were so painful and so on. I will never forget it. It was my first ever PT experience so I didn’t know how to speak up for myself nor say no. I was very naive and young minded at the time. I’ve since had a great physical therapist who has pushed me very gently with a lot of adjustments for pain and keeping my mind occupied during the tough parts. He was so great. I maybe going back to him to prepare and after a knee replacement I need and am working my way towards. (Yuck). So I’m with you oj giving them a wedgie. Whoever thinks a bucket of bricks and a ladder is good times is a demented sadist. I did have some massage by my good PT that was helpful but I’ve had people try to give me massage around my c spine where I have some issues and felt like I may as well be in a street fight. People who want to be helpful and aren’t trained too will give it a go and I’m like noooooooooooooo!!!! They don’t get it and are taken aback by my rejecting what they find as comfortable and relaxing lol. Ok I’m only halfway thru but your video was not too bouncy in the car. Give yourself credit. I’ve seen more car bounce by fully healthy and capable people lol. Oh also I could feel the water anxiety for you oh the ferry. Can’t blame you at all while being in a chair, on a boat and over water which is your traumatic life changing turn. I would be freaking right the heck out. You did good and smart not to go where it’s loud and over stimulating while just still even adjusting to sitting upright again. The pain with the noise makes me overloaded when my pain is too high also. People don’t understand why I like quiet and low stimulating settings in public. When you are already in pain and cannot control your environment as much it a recipe for panic or just general anxiety and for me I used to get moody and angry as an emotional response. But yeah. Give ‘em a wedgie is the best answer to it all! 😂
I felt like I traveled with you. Not sure what to write as a comment but I want to show appreciation for your videos. Your calm voice calms me down, it changes the atmosphere I feel and it feels like things will be alright. I wish you good health, take care and keep well💕
Thank you for sharing your experience! The Norwegian countryside is lovely. I appreciate you capturing the whole experience. From the highs to the lows, your positivity remained bright regardless of how your body felt. Sending you the best wishes for new movements in your body ❤️
What a lovely surprise to see your video during the long awaited trip. Eirin, I am so pleased it was a positive visit to the hospital, except Thursday where you were poorly. Good luck with next appointment with the endocrinologist (is that right?) regarding bone density. Hopefully you will be able to stand. You can stand?
Thank you, Eirin, I appreciate your response. When my friend had her horse riding accident in 1995, I believed there must be a way to repair such injuries, there must be, we’re the most intelligent species on this beautiful planet. I was due to visit my ex in San Francisco and thought there must be a specialist working on stem cell engineering. Soon after Christopher Reeve had his accident. He did so much good work in this field. I did my own research and contacted surgeons in ‘Frisco’. I wanted hope for my friend and her new community. We have made some really good progress in this field. One day it will come. Rest assured your videos are important Eirin, you are informing the world of your life. I wish you all the very best. I look forward to seeing you stand. ❤
Nothing compares to you....🎶 and yours and Thor😻 Thank you again for sharing a wonderful video with us. Dina says hello and wishes you all the best in the Lord💯🙏💯
Wow! Those hospitals are amazing..and the room for someone to stay with you. Here in the states we just have a chair in the room we have to sit up and sleep in. A lot of running back and forth home to shower and back again. It's wonderful there! Good luck with your appointment coming uo in May. My little one has an appointment with her cardiologist in May as well. Fingers crossed things go well for both ❤❤
We do have rehabs that are more comfortable for caregivers/spouses to sleep here in the US. And in specialty hospitals it’s better…plus we have Ronald McDonald houses that are excellent for family.
One more question? Might you explain a bit about your health care in your country? Here is Canada health care is covered but many purchase extra insurance to help out in areas like physio, massage, medicines, eye care, etc). We do have issues here with long wait lists for example a knee replacement wait up to 2 year wait. To see pain clinic up to 2-3 years. Now having said that…if you are in an emergency situation one would receive surgery immediately or at least quicker. My family Dr. Recently stated that my CRPS needed to be seen as urgent and so it only took a month. If it would not have been deemed urgent then the wait would have been 2-3 years. 😮
I’m happy you’re getting treatment faster! 🥰 We don’t have insurance for healthcare in Norway; only for debilitating accidents or death. While we do have wait lists, they’re rarely longer than 1 year - thankfully. Medicine is free if you have a chronic issue, unless it’s foreign, unapproved or experimental. If I’m in an emergency situation requiring surgery, they operate right then and there 👍 Our wait lists are sorted by urgency.
Hi Eirin, it was a very lovely vlog. Your country is beautiful, I'm from New Zealand so it reminds me of NZ lots of nature too, thank you for taking us into the 5days journey with you, day 2 looks tough, and the place you stay and your husband hotel it's nice, first question, what that all paid for by them ? Or did you had to pay for the hotel for your husband ? 2nd question is the mobility transport Van yours ? Or did you had to rent it? And I am so glad you recieved many answer on your health wise, and moving forward to better days, would be nice too if you can seats a lot more too. And can I just say, your husband if I could give him award I would. I wish I was a better person like him, he has a heart of gold, I watched the vlog how you meet him, I believe he was meant for you, and you to him. But can you ever travel overseas ? And since you can stretch your leg, will you be doing it more daily to keep that motion a bit ? I hope you can understand my question, thank you for being patience.
Thank you! ❤️ My stay is covered by the free universal healthcare system in Norway, and Uloba (where my husband is employed as one of my assistants) covers everything for him 👍 The car is technically «owned» by the Norwegian State, since they paid for it. I only had to pay a small fee and have to cover all the costs of using it; fuel, service and repairs, and insurance 👍 I can and have traveled overseas, yes 😃 I will make an effort to get more stretching and exercises 🥰
I recently found a postcard my sister-in-law sent from Bergen some years ago saying how beautiful the scenery was-lots of waterfalls, she said. Did you see any?
Such such sweet souls the both of you! Wishing you all the success in the world with your health and loads and loads of fulfilling days working on projects like TH-cam and your hobbies! Please turn on the membership and tips options on your channel, I’d love to support you! ❤
Wedgie 😅 I literally LOL … for those of us in wheelchairs or cannot walk well … outings are a great distraction for a time even if hard. I broke my ankle last summer and now diagnosed with CRPS. Nerve messages that normally respond to pain r confused and still sending pain messages when everything is healed. Even have ankle pain in the ankle NOT broken. Seeing specialist soon. Also have IBS and thats not fun! I took CBT therapy years back and currently taking ACT therapy and it helping me mentally. Wondering how far your entire trip is from home to hospital?❤🇨🇦
I have CRPS and have had it for over 20 years now. It is not fun, for sure. My one piece of advice is to keep moving as much as you can, but also, if your ankles start hurting worse, get off them and rest. It truly is learning how to balance movement and rest so as not to become overwhelmed with the pain. Good luck to you.
Hi beautiful souls! Thank you so much for being here and for your wonderful comments - I truly appreciate them ❤️ I try to read and answer as many as possible, and know that I’m just so thankful that you take from your valuable time to do so ❤️ Love & light!

@@eirinceciliegjedrem that is cool! I learn something new every day! ❤️
True! 🪦😄 Good news indeed 👍 I was okay, but then Life once again had different plans, so I will post about this new bump in the road tomorrow 😌❤️
@@eirinceciliegjedrem 🙁🙄😳
Thanks for sharing❤❤
So glad u got there and answers u were looking for
Hi darling thank you for updating us. Sending you love ❤️❤️❤️
Eirin I have been following you for while. Thanks for taking us with you to hospital. Hope they can help with your problem. ❤
Thor was happy to see you and Steinar, in his own way 😂
Thanks, again for sharing 💖🥰💖
Thank you! 💖🤩
🙏❤ Bless you Eirin - thanks for taking us along. I assume you managed to shake off whatever germ you caught at the hospital. Or they just wore you out. 🙏🙏
Thank you ❤️❤️ Weeeell, unfortunately no 🦠😅 I will post about this new development tomorrow 🥰
Oh no - praying for your health. Take care!
🥰❤️😻
A hospital with a hotel sounds nice. The views are amazing from the journey there and from the hospital. I just had a colonoscopy and indoscopy. I have Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis. My doctor's office called and I have an appointment this coming week. I had a high fever for a couple of days. So something is going on. I hope your blood pressure stabilizes. I'm glad you are able to continue your standing exercises. And no colonoscopy was great news. The prep is awful. Norway is so beautiful. Is it like this most of the year?
Ow, you’re definitely going through a lot 😓 I hope the appointment goes well 🙏❤️ The weather is usually nice, but we do have quite a bit of rain 😅
hopefully you have hospital closer if needed and only crossed ocean to get to that one.
Eirin, you are so brave! I felt your pain on the pt table. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Wishing the best for you, and congratulations on getting to sit up!😊
Thank you so much, and I wish you all the very best and good luck with the upcoming treatment 🙏🫶🥰
God bless you. Thanks for sharing
🦄💞🐈⬛✨️
"We will make a new normal." Thank you for this.

I got dinner and show as my replacement 🎁
I'm Sooo GRATEFUL to see how well you have recovered from this week as it definitely looked grueling.
Erin. Wishing you nothing but the best of experiences Thank you for taking us along.
I was happy to see the hospital videos as I am an OT working in home care. I am looking forward to seeing the exercise program you learned from your OT!
Wonderful! 🤩💖
Thanks for your sharing. I hope they have the way to improve your bone density and you can try to stand. Support and bless from Hong Kong😊
Thank you sharing your beautiful drive. ❤
So thankful you had a good trip! You had me laughing so hard at your WWE comment 😂
😁
Thank you for sharing with us!
Hey y'all from South Carolina USA 💕👋🏼
Your positivity and humor is just what I needed after a long day of work- you, your husband, and kitties are too cute 🤗 Glad you're doing well!
My mom is from Vienna Austria and as someone who's been extremely lucky enough to go to Europe a lot (to visit family but we always take a side trip to another country while we're there) I can say without a doubt that Europe is one of if not the most beautiful places on earth 😍 I also have Sweden and Denmark ancestry (going by my DNA tests it's 10% but sadly I haven't been able to pin point those ancestors yet but hopefully I do one day.. who knows we might be related 😉)
Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you! 🥰❤️ That is so nice - yes, Europe has a lovely beauty to it 🌍
I was very sad to see you so miserable on Thursday (I hope you didn't have to miss any important sessions).
Thank you, precious! 😄🥰❤️
I felt like I traveled with you.
Not sure what to write as a comment but I want to show appreciation for your videos.
Your calm voice calms me down, it changes the atmosphere I feel and it feels like things will be alright.
I wish you good health, take care and keep well💕
Thank you so much for being here 🥰
Many thanks to you as well!
Weather in Norway sounds like weather in Iowa, USA! 😂 we say if you don’t like the weather in Iowa stick around 5 minutes! Lots of love! ❤
So true! 😄❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience! The Norwegian countryside is lovely. I appreciate you capturing the whole experience. From the highs to the lows, your positivity remained bright regardless of how your body felt. Sending you the best wishes for new movements in your body ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you 🥰
💕
What a lovely surprise to see your video during the long awaited trip. Eirin, I am so pleased it was a positive visit to the hospital, except Thursday where you were poorly. Good luck with next appointment with the endocrinologist (is that right?) regarding bone density. Hopefully you will be able to stand. You can stand?
Thank you, I hope so too! I can stand when strapped to a bench or bed, so that my knees or hips don’t bend 😊❤️
brave! ❤ you guys rock! 🙏🏈
🐱
Nothing compares to you....🎶 and yours and Thor😻
Thank you again for sharing a wonderful video with us.
Dina says hello and wishes you all the best in the Lord💯🙏💯
Thank you og i like måte! 🤩
Been thinking about you so much. I am sending you a letter soon!
🙏❤️🙏
Hahahaha sorry I have to stop the video and laugh, hahahaha your Husband so right that's a bit grim hahahaha it's the first thing I noticed too 😂😂😂
😁🪦
Thank you for sharing your massage day too.
Fingers crossed things go well for both ❤❤
I hope all goes well! 🙏❤️
I didn’t get to go out this time, but I will look for one the next time I’m there 🤩🥰
Such such sweet souls the both of you!
Ow, you’re going through quite the ordeal - I’m so sorry you have to experience such pain 😓❤️ It took 4 hours one way 🥰
