My stomping grounds. Great video. Hundreds of miles of FS Roads in the region, great camping amd great restaurants. Hope yall enjoyed it

Do you have a favorite FS Rd or route in the area?
@MotoOffroadAdventures probably Maple Sally Road it's called on Gaia, the same road is called Maple Grove Church Rd on Google, I believe, or vise versa. It starts sw of Colletsville on Adako Rd and heads northish to an intersection, keep heading in the northerly direction on Edgemont rd to highway221 (Blowing Rock Hwy)
Those two roads combined are 35miles of continuous dirt and gravel.
Jump on the Parkway right there at 221, and head NE, only a few minutes from LinnCove Viaduct, an 'S' shaped bridge, which was an engineering marvel.
I believe MapleSally and Edgemont are part of the Smokey Mountain 1000 adventure/overlanding route, and possibly the TAT too.
You are amazing my friend. I noted all of this down. I might be going to that area next week. I will have to check the weather. But I don't mind some cold.

Have you done Appalachian trail
Yes it was an amazing adventure. My wife and I hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2019. Hard to describe the awesome journey it was. If you are interested you can see some of the videos on my other channel there is a playlist

What dam, lake or river is that at the start of the video?
It is just above Wateree Lake, at Great Falls Lake in S.C. That spot is on my route going to up the N.C. mountains to play around.
