One Guy Asked Me to Play Zoroastrian Persia in EU4 Multiplayer, so I Did

- In this video I play as Eranshahr, also known as Zoroastrian Persia in a 50 player EU4 Multiplayer game starting as Ajam with multiple players around me like Georgia, Rassids, Transoxiana, Afghanistan, Mewar, Mamluks, the Ottomans, and much more!
Persia has always been one of the more fun nations to play in EU4 but with its new mission tree in King of Kings, is it now overpowered? We will analyze and look at that as we play through this campaign. The story of this video takes us through multiple conflicts with our neighbors, internal development and pictures and videos made by AI never done before in this genre of youtube video, so I hope you guys enjoy!!

Fun fact: eranshar is a releaseable tag, in the same manner that the mongol empire used to be. Basically conquer a zoroastrian province that has persian culture. Then increase unrest in that province. Youll see eranshar rebels. Then provoke them and let them occupy some of your provinces, so eranshar gets core on them. Next release eranshar as subject

@@AbsoluteHabibi I'm not sure, only reason I could see would be if you want a late game tag switch as an end tag? Probably not too useful. It works with burgundy quite well cause you can inherit for free

Love how confident this georgia player played. After he had so much debt and got only a stab hit on you it was probably the only winning move left for him to truce break you and go full ham. Thats like a 100 or 0 play but otherwise the downfall of georgia would maybe a bit slower but nonetheless absolute certain .
If he won that truce break, he wouldn’t have bankrupted and was in a decent position. I think he had to make that play with the amount of debt he had

the little AI animations are so scuffed but that's why I love them
I liked this video, the ai art segments (i think?) were kinda jarring looking though. i wonder if you could get a similar effect by using wikimedia commons or otherwise public images instead. cool idea anyway though, and great campaign

Habibi, I Got some video ideas for you:
You could try making a mp lobby with a bunch of formable nations mods.
A second idea would be making a custom nation battleroyal. What does that mean? It means you clear the map of all nations and each Player get 1 province and siberian frontier. Ive done it myself with Ai before. Really fun if you combine it with alot of formable nation mods.
Just did a Shiraz to Persia run, retaining Shirazi ideas. Was great for playing tall, but Zoroastrian would make it even better (extra goods produced on top? Please yes)

Lovely video just wanted to point the way you pronounced Eranshahr. its actually ērānšahr in middle persian and irân-šahr in new persian.

Question about Eranshahrian ideas, isnt the overextension impact modifier massive? I know the dev cost and manpower modifiers are nice, i feel like large scale nerfing other players ability to truce break and punish big war score gains would be worth the difference. Its ideas so imo outside of things like discipline n goods produced a lot of the ideas rely on players using and stacking modifiers efficiently rather then just flat buffing your nation to victory so player knoweldge and even personal pref is more important, still wondering why you might not value eranshahr ideas over Persian ideas (esp with that +5 cav combat bonus)
You lose manpower, manpower recovery speed, discipline, 5 dev cost, and army morale recover speed (underrated modifier btw that lets you drill in between battles). It’s not really rocket science why I think those modifiers are better than 5% more cav combat ability, 5 tech cost, 20% fort defense and overextension impact modifier

Hey I'm curious. I have around 3500 hours on EU4 but I have virtually no experience playing online. Is it a lot different and better than single player? The main reason I never tried online is because I can't find anyone to play it with, so I'm also curious if there are some community discords where people meet to play EU4 online? Thanks!
