So i can comment on the collective south where people are with mindset if the political party is state established based on language and other similar individualities of the state then its easier for the govt to understand the local and common problems of the state and solve them faster and they do think national parties originated from north won't do em any good and this mentality is exploited by the regional parties for propaganda....... I am a Palakkad Tambram too. Most of us raised outside do speak a bit of Malayalam in some capacity as we tend to visit Palakkad many times throughout our childhood.
