I did the first side of the scarf with just the written directions and it took me about an hour to do a 6" scarf. On the second side I couldn't grasp it again lol, so here you are with simple and easy to follow directions. Thank you!

Can you tell me how the twisted fringe fairs in the washing machine and gentle dryer setting? I am thinking of putting this on a chevron afghan but am curious if the fringe stays twisted as nicely as it looks when first applied to the crocheted item. Thanks!
This type of fringe is way more durable than traditional cut fringe. With any handmade fabric, I suggest using a laundry bag if you are going to put it in the washing machine or dryer. I sell large ones here: www.kristinomdahl.com/accessories/laundry-bag
How do you calculate how many twists are needed? So if you wanted a 5 inch fringe instead of a 4 inch fringe, I understand 2.5 times 5 or 12.5 inches. but I didn't get then how many wrap twists? Maybe 30?
It is trial and error depending on what yarn you use, too. Pretty easy to practice though. If you want it longer, you will need to make the loop longer and need more twists. If you twist tightly like I did it reduces the loop to 1/3 length.
I’d love to be able to follow your instructions, but since you have used a dark yarn, it’s very hard to see exactly what you you’re doing with the stitches and I’m not following with just the verbal instructions. Please redo the video using a lighter colored yarn. Thank you.

Whats wrong with twisting it still on the hook provided you keep a finger on the end of the hook holding the yarn? Thats how i do it, anyways.
