I made this awesome design to organize plastic shopping bags. I don't want to throw away plastic shopping bags as they are needed for something else! I don't like the messy look in the drawer, so this organizer is very useful! I hope you like it too 😊 I will be happy if you write your ideas in the comments...

I agree with you. However I could make the bottom of it wider and use it as a Snood for my Cavalier to hold her ears up when she's eating her dinner, or other food that her ears dip into when she's eating. I don't agree with using &/or wasting plastic, which is virtually what this is doing. I'm also sure that you could find something else to use as a base to begin with. We don't use single use plastic grocery bags here in Australia ... but we can buy reusable and recyclable ♻️ bags if we forget our bags, or need more than we expected to need when we took our cloth/reusable bags with us.

И нафига коту баян? Если хочется сохранить пакеты, сложить их треугольником и положить в коробочку вертикально, чтобы удобно было видеть какой нужен, места очень мало займут.

I've seen many holders made with elastic or stretchy hair ties and they seem to work better to keep the bags inside.

Думаю, такое колечко сломается, не выдержит вес кухонного полотенца.

I have a friend that sent a sewn recycle bag. Although we aren’t suppose to use plastic anymore, there is the occasional stray. I use the plastic bag for trash liners in my bathroom and bedroom. This is a clever. Have a wonderful day and thank you for sharing. Hello from western Washington.
In the beginning, I thought of champagne cover, then keep going I asked myself what it could be but I guess later on because of the cups ring and the ribbon to make it tight, it comes to mind for the excess bag in the kitchen that we are using,it's a good idea for the creative mind, i love crochet when I was young my project in the school,i give gifts for round table cover,when I was in the middle east plenty of time, good source to kill time. Here in north America the same we do recycle, for my groceries bag i made old towels easy ,elastic band on both ends and hung inside the kitchen cupboard 15 yrs still alive and continue serving the household. Thank you,i learned your crochet pattern.

This is very pretty crocheting. It's something that I've wanted to learn for years, and this video is clear enough that I'm sure I could follow as a lesson.
We don't use plastic shopping bags here in Australia. We usually only use cloth bags, unless of course people forget to take them or unexpectedly go shopping while they are out. We are then able to buy reusable or recyclable bags, or just pick up smaller empty cardboard boxes if shopping at the stores that don't typically unpack the boxes but cut them open and display them on the shelves. However plastic bags, except for vegetable bags, were phased out of stores a few years ago. We are all working to do our bit for the environment, reuse or recycle is our motto here. I'm often shocked when I see people in the USA and the UK using single use grocery bags. It's up to everyone, no matter in what country they live, to work towards a more sustainable and less polluting environment. As the video suggests, some people reuse plastic supermarket bags for other things, just as I did ... The only thing I use plastic bags for now is to pick up my dogs poop, and to line my 'wet' bins, eg kitchen tidy ... as we also have separate bins here ... recyclable waste, and 'wet' bins where the rubbish has to go back into landfill.
Since 2020 some stores in USA give paper bags and you can pay for tote, only grocery give free bag

Uk banned single use plastic bags here too, and food caddys have biodegradable liners in them. we also have door step collection of all recyclable items you could imaging ! (Too many to list ) including electrical items .
Please remember that the U.K. and the U.S.A are very different places ! You just have to look at uk petrol taxes to see we are heavily punished for pollution of the emvorment here !
Wendy, I wish we would do that here in the U.S. Unfortunately we have a group who doesn't believe climate change is real 🙄. We also have those followers who would protest and scream their Constitutional right to carry plastic bags is being violated. Since 2016 things have changed here. We had some that refused to even mask up during the pandemic. I'm sure you have those people as well. Good for your country for implementing.

Кто вам лайки поставил, недовольная жизнью Нина? Для вязальщиц эта вещица дело 40-50 минут, а как красиво в доме становится. Не нравится - обложитесь пластиком и полиэтиленом, как большинство. А ручная работа делает дом уютнее всегда.
