Do you know how to load a gcode program onto a mazak m32 through the rs232 port using easy DNC? I have the cable, I have the DNC software that works on a Fanuc controllers but this ancient stupid mazak doesn't seem to load anything when i send it. I don't know what the fan fare is for mazak because I'd take fanuc machine where i plug the gcode in and load it over the stupid mazatrol crap any day. It's tedious, time consuming and I don't get it. It's like Mickey Mouse decided to design an HMI and Pluto programmed it from a typewriter. Any help would be great.
My frustration comes from that the machine is 30 years old. loses its memory after 2 days and I have to wipe the memory and reload the floppy disks every time. Then because I have to wipe the memory I have to manually enter every single program into the machine. It's ridiculous but I work at a small company that can't afford machines that don't run on steam power and radio tubes.
