- LEG 8 we walk from the last room of the Tamarijn resort (Druif beach) to the port of Aruba (or Oranjestad) via the LG Smith Blvd. This can also help give an idea of how and where the beaches are from the port should you be visiting on a Cruise ship.

Can't wait! See you soon!
Sorry I missed you. I slept in and the time change messed me up too! Good walk :)
That is understandable☺️Maybe next time☀️
I stayed at the Bushiri beach resort in the 1980’s and loved the cooking school that served all of our food. It was wonderful. I’m so sorry to see it is no longer there.
Sorry to see it go too. Had fond memories there.
Hello! It's a beautiful place. Thanks.😊
Thank you too!
Hello Hyro....we'll be there tomorrow!
Sounds great...Have fun!
Thanks so much 👍. We did that walk a few times to get into the city from Divi Dutch. Nice to see how things look now. Looking forward to the next leg!😊
Good point, things constantly change so it's good to be updated☺️Cheers!
Great to see familar places and of course familiar faces :) I was sledging in Tirol today, awesome to be transported back to Aruba in the evening :) looking forward to next videos of the island 🏝
😊Happy to help (forget the cold outside)❄️. Thanks for watching!
hola, me gustan mucho sus videos. cuando vienen a venezual, tienen que conocer el salto angel, los roques y el pico bolivar en merida
Nos encantaria Leo! Conozco pero muy poquito de Venezuela. Saludos!
Wow, the lack of the Bushiri being there has really brought down the area. I remember going and swimming there almost every weekend because it was the closest beach to our house right at the entrance to Madiki and while like you said it's not the best beach on the island, it was very usable and had points in favor of it because it wasn't a beach that ever had a lot of tourist, so it was a great place to take a swim without the crowds, was also a good spot to take a quick swim and cooldown while on the way to Manchebo Beach or Eagle Beach for the day.
i wonder why nobody has tried to build a new hotel on that spot since the Bushiri, maybe because it's a bit unconnected from the rest of the beaches or it's undesirable location next to Ports fenced in area. The area has it's charm and I think it needs a business at the location that is willing to maintain the beach.
A great place/beach to cool down is a great point! I've swam there more than a few times in the past and it would still be a better beach than most everywhere☺️ Regarding further development I think they want to keep this like a public area at least for now. The hotel did keep it very nice back then.
Where do you think you guys will be in mid January? Would love to join you?
If I would have to take I guess I would say probably Simeon Antonio or Barcadera.
Yes, we hope to be somewhere after the airport. Thanks for asking☺️
Hyro, wasn’t there another couple on Leg 7 besides Michael and his family?
Yes there was👍🏼
Great walk, brother. I need to binge watch your last few videos. I've been on a few week long hunting trip. Internet has been spotty in the mountains. Good to ya'll are still doing well. Pagie and I need to plan our next Aruba trip to see you guys. 🇦🇼
Good to know you guys are ok too! Hope you are able to catch up soon. Happy Holidays!
Hi just realized that we are actually going to land there on Easter Monday. Now we are worried there will not be any places open to pick up food for BNB or eat out. I'm sure it's all closed right?
Most is closed but you can always find something open around the hotel areas.
@@LetsgowithHyro thanks 😊
I believe Aida is pronounced aye-EE-dah.
