@@SoiledPlant so good news to share with you. I just bought the biggest exoctica calathea that I've ever seen. I have a smaller one already but I didn't realize how huge they could get. It's 3 ft sitting in a 12 inch pot. My local nursery is amazing! It was for 80.00. I couldn't pass it up. Then last night I got another big beauty from there. A 10 inch pot of the biggest pinstripe calathea I've seen in person. The leaves are longer than my face.

I would love to get an atabapoense sometime in the future did you have to keep it in a grow tent for humidity or was it able to adapt to your home? The Plowmanii is an incredible specimen I think I could be satisfied just owning one plant if that was the plant.

The splendid might want it a bit higher (50+%). I’ve always had it in my cabinet. So I’m not sure how it would do with less.

My ata is growing in the open. My house is usually between 35-45% humidity. It seems fine. Mine probably wants more light tho 😂

Interesting! It was $5 off Facebook. But it was from a reputable local seller. Thank you for telling me. I feel less bad for it not growing well now.
