I've also noticed his personal and professional tastes changing slightly over time. I really respect his ability to grow and change as a person and professional without forcing himself to stay stuck in a rut of opinion and taste.
Never get tired of hearing what he thinks of fragrances.

What's his best one/s in your opinion? Not sure which one to buy. For a young man.
Really love Aaron's thoughts on fragrances. I watch most of his fragrance reviews, they're really insightful because he's a perfumer who works with all these raw materials himself. He's changed a bit since your old perfumer rates videos with him - 7 is basically the lowest rating he gives and what he considers maybe pleasant but boring, 8 is alright, and he gives 9s to fragrances he actually finds interesting.
He said he (now) only publishes the reviews of fragrances he at least somewhat liked, because he doesn´t enjoy badmouthing someone´s favorites. That´s why there are no low scores. And I think that´s totes fine.

I’m just getting into his videos now (I actually saw great press for hard candy before seeing he makes reviews!) and god is he cooking. Like in his terre d’hermes video he smells it and instantly says it’s an iso E super fragrance, which makes perfect sense for the note list and people rarely bring up. Love the way he steals right to the materials instead of concepts.
I absolutely love watching Aaron draw fragrance molecules in the air as he smells them and tries to remember what they're called.

Just love Aaron's analysis of H24! So on point, almost scientific! It's a dividing scent I found but I love it! Thanks to the two of you for this great video!

Azzaro TMW is so good. Def one of my favorite scents released in the past 2-3 years. Also please have more of this format. ATH always knows what he's talking about when it comes to scents and I love this collab.
Didnt really belived all that smell,chemichals..etc when he was talking,until he talked about LIGHT BLUE FOREVER,without knowing what it is,as i own the parfume,it was exactly how he decribed it.since then,i kinda started to like what he says! Great job! :)

The best segment in the Yt fragrance community...I think Aaron has 'mellowed' a little with his ratings since he's been smelling and rating so many fragrances...I remember when he first came on he said he wasn't very familiar with the brands...

Best fragrance duo on TH-cam.
On paper, I had difficulty telling Infrared apart from the original. Still prefer 1899 over both myself, but I think they're all solid. Costa Azzurra just gives me CK Crave vibes every time. Not my fav scent from TF. Always great to see Aaron back on the channel!

Great video. I have 3 of these fragrances- the bottom 3! 🤦🏻♂️😁 but I love them all for different reasons. I love the way ATH judges the technical aspects of the composition and leaves his opinion till the end.
That H24 was spot on from Aaron! That’s crazy LOL. That’s exactly what I thought about it also. He is also right about the Tom Ford! They did lose something is the last few years.
Nice to see the old magic is still there, alway fascinating to hear a technical breakdown of fragrance composition.

So many videos are out there asking others on how they like scents off a strip and then telling which perfumes the testers liked and such... Some fragrances are top notch but since the basenotes don't come along that good off a strip the demonstration is a bit flawed.
So sad it's only 5 perfumes ☹

If Aaron had a boutique for his fragrances, and he tended to just hang out there talking with patrons, it’d be really fun to pick his brain because I teach chemistry in high school. Unfortunately not organic, so we don’t deal with the compounds he’s describing

Love these videos!! i only found ATH because of FM and i now have/had every fragrance from his line excluding Haze, Adonis is my favourite fragrance on the planet and im gutted its been discontinued !!
