Mk1 nailed alot of the fighting stages, but this one is still my fav. Reminds me of MKX with the gory elements
I love this stage but I’m also glad not every stage is this dark and monotone like X. That game had a hatred for anything colorful lol

Actually the lack of game audio was nice. Easier to hear your voiceover. IMO these tutorial style videos would be great with just voice and some low-volume bg music and without game audio entirely.

Havik and Reiko are the most fun characters i experienced in a fighting game for a while now. Loved the guide, i hope you do a Reiko one.
My two main characters right now, but I honestly prefer Havik more.
Been practicing Havik a lot lately. A lot of fun to use. I like using Frosty kameo with the low freeze attack.. Thanks for the lessons super

his bf1 is combo'able from across the screen with 2 well timed dashes into b22,bf1,f12,subfreeze, armrip....
Basically, his bf1 is a combo starter because u have so many +frames. bf1 into dash into combo.
Also his meterburn armrip has 4 hits of armor.
And his 1150HP with subzero is also very noticable.

I think havik needs a small damage buff since hes so slow,,and his combos doesn't really shine comparing to the other kasts

Havik can make combo on the opponent and with a low attack, just need to call Cyrax at the right moment
I think the reaosn havik hangs his arm he actually breaks or dislocates his shoulder so he can rip it off in invasion when you fight you can hear and see him dislocate or break his shoulder when hes about to get into the fight so he can rip his arm off easier
I can't land the back 22- back forward 1- back 22 into back forward 2. The roll always misses anyone know what's up?
Frost freeze is to slow to hit db1 here is a combo
22 forward frost 22bf1 2 bf3 or bf3ex for the setup

They should let you enhance the B2 string's grab ender for an extension so you dont need to rely on Kameo so much.
I thought so too. Even though I’ve played this character for hours on end, I just felt you don’t really do much outside of pressure and using kameos to help you out (not to mention the fact he has essentially no reversal options he could do).
However, I am content on how he is right now because he’s essentially good at everything else and thinking about adding a combo extension would probably break the character (almost) although I think it would give him more ways to do stuff without kameos.

So is plus block good or bad? Can someone explain frame data and advantages please I'm kinda confused on it
There’s some great videos you can pretty easily find explaining Framedata, it applies similarly to all fighting games.
Plus on block just means at the end of the move when blocked, you can act that many frames before your opponent can (which is good), negative on block means your opponent can act that many frames before you.
I’m not great at wording it but there’s a good short that explains it super simply using guilty gear footage

Plus on block is always good, that means it’s safe.
If a move/combo is +3 on block, that means the opponent has to either keep blocking or attack with something faster than 3 frames I think.
One more question he said that havik has a short dash and long dash with his bf2 how do u do it?

have you tried Cyrax? it does more damage for combos lol in total about 52-54%
Do you dash cancel after tge heart before doing back 22 again?

@@Virtu-ALL ya i found that out today thanks. Thats better than just base health being like that for no reason, although im still not really a fan of health buffs like that
I just wish Havik was better. His range is actually pretty sucky when compared to other characters (reptile B3, Smoke B2, Liu Kang F2, etc), he gets nothing off his throws, his specials have really long start ups, his armored move just sucks, he’s too kameo dependent, he has no mixups outside kameos who other characters get more damage, his damage is arguably one of the worst (even with the unblockable), his plus strings all stubby and start off with highs, his F2 doesn’t get a guaranteed neoplasm, F13 is one of the worst strings in the game, you are forced between being zoned out/having no mixups/okay damage regardless of what kameo you pick because he requires kameos too much, and his dash isn’t very average for stubby strings
Yeah… people overrated this character and now there’s only like 5 Havik mains because him and Reptile are the worst characters in the game following the Cyrax rework. He just needs buffs all around even if he can get 50% off an unblockable in a game where every other character gets about the same amount of damage for 1-2 bars of damage guaranteed
online he is so slow its unplayable when u start something he is interupted all others characters are in 2x speed ur just diapositives
cyrax is the best kameo for havik i think
I use sektor but i might try cyrax
The Darius cameo out of the back 2 grab is terrible
