My appendix ruptured when I was 19... worst pain ever. The first dr that saw me thought I had the flu. 5 days later couldn't walk. Spent the next 20 days in the hospital with 2 surgeries... glad you took her when you did. Sorry I am new to the channel and like 2 years behind so trying to catch up... you all are amazing!!
I am glad Reece is all better soon. My mom had the same surgery but in the 1950-60. she got her appendix late and had the bad symptoms of the fever, and appendix burst. She fine after the surgery. I am graceful that you caught what was wrong earlier before those symptoms appear.
I like how stephen is so light about the situation (surgery) that is needed at times...it made me feel everything was going to go well because it wasn't like a totally sad vibe💯 but glad reese got through the surgery well . Thank you God💛

Awww reese is so brave! My son had the same surgery 2 years ago, they say its a simple surgery but to us parents it was nerve wrecking to see the kid all plugged in, hope reese has a speedy recovery!
She did so well & has such an amazing support team! I had the same surgery a few years ago. After it was over, they had me get off the operating table and onto the hospital bed. They asked if I could get up myself and I said yeah, and thought “obviously”. I got up and fell over immediately lol. Ice chips were probably the biggest thing that helped with nausea. The thought of drinking water was too nauseating, but staying hydrated really helps.
So glad that Reese is doing well! With her loving family’s support and great sense of humor and being brave, she made it! I am new to your channel and have been watching past vlogs and just watched “our family story”- really warms my heart to see what a true blessing you 2 are to provide these wonderful kids a chance for a loving family and a healthy/successful life. I’m watching this from my hospital room waiting to get my appendix removed in a few hours. Have a quick recovery! Edit: a little after I made this comment my doc came in and said we needed to do further testing cuz some things were leading them to believe I didn’t need my appendix out so they gave me some drugs (sorry Reese I did drugs) and I’m starting to feel better😃
Morphine in the hospital is fine!!!!!! It's not doing drugs 😔 sometimes ya need it in the hospital! I am glad you're feeling better! Any updates on what it was?

A few years down the line, they realize she has endometriosis and finally took out the worst ovary. Years of pain this caused her. Of course pelvic pain is a super vague symptom and could be from a bunch of different things... I'm just saying that it could be related to reproductive organs, but it's probably not gonna be anything life threatening. Also just in case.. the appendix is on the lower right side and if u press it and it hurts more after then go to the hospital . Regardless you should go to the doctor tho
potato noses ya the lymph nodes near my appendix were enflamed due to a virus attacking them. There’s nothing you can do about it you just have to wait it out

I remember in high school a friend of ours missed the last day of school. We were confused as to why (this was before cell phones were a thing) and we later found out she had an appendicitis on the last day of school. Of course everything went well with her! Reese does have nice eyebrows. I am cursed with growing up in the 90's and mine are gone.

You handled it like a champ! 💪🏻 The best way I can explain it to anyone about to have their first surgery is it’s like when you go to sleep, you close your eyes, and the next time you open them it’s all done and you’re already in recovery. Stephen was on a roll pre-surgery - still laughing but remembering my hubby was the same way (and I was always like “No! Don’t joke about that stuff!”) - thank goodness for our different/opposite personalities at times and everything working out for the best!Prayers & well wishes for Reese❣️

Bless her heart. Glad she had great medical care. When my appendix became inflamed the first Dr. I saw at the ER said I had a uti and gave IV antibiotics without even coming into the room to see me then sent me home. Pain got worse, went back after shift change in the morning and as soon as the Dr. stepped into my room he knew it was my appendix. Was furious the previous Dr. sent me home. Called the surgeon down, he was furious too. Never saw that Dr. again. Knew I was in good hands though, as they were putting me under the surgeon sat beside me, took my hand and began praying for God to guide him and keep me safe. That's the last thing I remember before coming to. Not many Drs. do that. I was like Reese and bounced back quickly, was only in the hospital for maybe 18 hrs. total. So wonderful to see her doing good and thank God they found the cysts and removed them. God is Great. Love your family.

Reese is such a strong girl! Thankfully i have never had to have any type of surgery done, and I’m sure I wouldn’t be as calm and quirky as Reese. She was probably scared and nervous but she handled it so well! Amanda helping her with her makeup was so sweet, I know she’ll be brand new in no time! Also in this vlog since she was a lot more serious, she reminded me a lot of Jude! The facial expressions she would make and her little nods, it was so cute. Keira FaceTiming her and telling her she missed her ❤️

Great to see Reese up and about and recovering! God is good. My six year old cousin died from a ruptured appendix while on a trip to Disney a few years ago. Thus it is a blessing to see Reese up and about!
@@themillerfam It was, because at the time she was her parents only child and her mom had a miscarriage a month before. Now her parents have 2 beautiful daughters but it was devastatingly painful. However God gifted us with two new cousins. They can't replace her but they add beauty twofold to the family.

I had this exact surgery when I was 9. It was traumatic for the nine year old me but it went well! I hope the recovery goes well for you, Reese! ❤

I had a same situation emergency surgery for appendix ,, my situation was the side effects day after surgery which needed to stay for four days ,, she's brave girl and has a happy sense of hummer ,,, lovin it
I was very happy when an ad appeared and played because most of the time, I don't get to watch ads on their videos. Of course, no skipping of ads for their awesome family, and I actually enjoyed the new Pay Maya ad in the 🇵🇭.
