I've been watching maple motors for years wanting to buy a classic outright. I received a settlement a year ago and was gonna purchase something from them 😂 prices tripled in two years no thanks I'll wait. In 2019 he had fully restored Chevelle's for 20-25k now he wants 45+

I’m not into financing cars but I’d rather finance a classic car that goes up in value than a new car that goes down in value. Smart move

When interest rates were low, cars, houses, watches etc.. all went up. Financing a car (classic or not) at 10% (or more) is not going to be a winner.

No car is worth the price at a car dealer right now. With the economy the way it is, it's the wrong time to go into deep debt, especially with the present interest rates.

Financing a classic car kind of sets me sideways. There is no finance company that puts me on the right side of the deal whether it is or isn't a classic that goes up in value. Somebody in that business knows how much the car is worth and they aren't into helping me make money. I bought my classic from a trusted friend who let me pay him a little here and there with no deadline, no interest because he knew I'd take care of it and restore it to it's original glory. It's an emotional thing, not a business transaction. I paid him off in three years and by that time had restored it like new. We both feel we won.

Had a 68 charger as my first car back in 79! It was built up and i never dreamed they would be worth so much nowadays! Just a rusted out shell is going for 5 to 10 grand now! Sold mine in the early 80s for a grand!! Wish i had just put in a barn somewhere for a while!! Wonder if its still on the road somewhere and was a survivor!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane. The view was nice too!!

Great video, thanks for taking the time to show some nice particulars of some of the rides . I've been a hot rodder all my life. My first car was a 1946 Ford Cpe. with a 1957 350 cu. Olds Rocket engine, project car.. I was 15. I have been drawing cars and flames since I was 8. Keep up the video fun. I advise to wait to buy a vehicle until the first of next year.. you will get a much better price.

When the LS came out in 97 Corvette and then in 98 with Camaro and Firebird they were 350’s, actually 346 cubes but advertised as 5.7. First year of the new GTO was also 5.7 but called LS2 I think. Surprised you all didn’t know that!

Yeah, in 1968, GM introduced astro ventilation which in some models made the wing glasses unnecessary. Also, the insurance companies were pressuring manufacturers to abandon the wing glasses because thieves could gain access to the vehicle more easily.

dude !! Get a home equity line of credit and stretch that payment out to 20 years and comfortable monthly. If you're comfortable with $10K down and almost $800 a month, then the HELOC is a walk in the park and you'll have thousands in the long run. Then just apply chunks to the principal as you save it. Its a lower interest rate, especially through a credit union.

I couldn't agree with you more on two things, number one, the big inch wheels on that truck are horrible, I'm a traditionalist and feel that any car should have no larger than 15" wheels, 16, if an Iroc or later Fox body Mustang and number two , I absolutely LOVE the 60 Impala and would love to have one, but do not possess a shop or even a garage large enough to house one!☹️☹️☹️

The 60's blue paint isn't as nice as some of the others, but a unique car and very cool. The paint on that flamed '55 Nomad was "flat" and very, very nice. My pick would be the Hemi Roadrunner, but you wouldn't be able to drive that heavy a prize around because of it's tremendous value. So, all that said, I'd take the '57 Nomad.....
