Heeey, what's going on dude! Your, name, is, Anthony, and today I'm here because I want to express my appreciation for your uploads! You are always my go to source whenever I want to learn more about the new Minecraft updates. I usually try to avoid watching the trailers and other videos covering the new update because I like to be surprised when it comes out. I try to learn as much as I can on my own, and when I'm ready to learn everything, I just click on your video and I learn everything about the new update in a matter of days! And even to this day you are still teaching me new things I didn't know about Minecraft, be them old, new, unused, or removed. And if that wasn't enough, if I'm taking a break from Minecraft, you always put me right back in the mood for it, therefore making my latest Minecraft videos more entertaining! So thank you very much for reading this comment and being such a reliable source of Minecraft knowledge and inspiration, and I'll see you next time we cross paths! Goodbyyyyyyeeeeeeee!

There's a couple of reasons I still have the old Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and Minecraft: Xbox One Edition (not the Bedrock Edition variant) - one is the old tutorial worlds, which were perfect to start a full survival world on and gave you a very good chance of making it. The other reason is the Multiplayer Minigames - the battle minigame and especially the glider minigame. I spent entire WEEKENDS against my friends, gliding through many levels and making my time as low as possible. I still remember two of the levels - one was going through the gastrointestinal system such as stomach and colon and such, and another was in a Chinese area with standard Chinese dragons and structures. Certain shortcuts sucked - trying to cut time by going through a 2x2 tunnel was very hard, especially since stopping your flight meant instant death.

I remember back when Minecraft first got released for the ps3. I begged my dad to get it for me and I would sit on the floor having fun getting infinite dogs or trying to find the “golden spoon” (an inside joke with my cousins)
Speaking of, me and my cousins would send invites with songs from our favorite shows…I would always use come along with me from adventure time and my cousins would use all sorts of shows
we played split screen when they came over and we would have a random assortment of songs playing in the background, the group favorites being milk and cereal and don’t mine at night.
Thinking back on it makes my heart hurt a little, knowing they are some of my favorite memories we’ll probably never share again, our oldest cousin now working and too old to give me high fives, my “twin” not being into Minecraft anymore and my little cousin kinda becoming a shut in only playing Roblox with his friends who only find humor in saying slurs in every sentence
Fun times I hope to fine the same feeling from again in our new ages

A few months ago I spawned in a new survival world. I spawned on the edge of a Jungle (not Jungle edge biome though), which lead right onto a desert. I walked into the desert and immediately saw a temple and village close by. Since I was in survival, I went to the temple first and got around 6 diamonds. I then probably had to log off because of dinner or something and I don’t know what happened to the world.

MC-3449 was a REALLY annoying bug in Minecraft 1.4.3 through 1.4.7 that caused switching what you were holding in your hotbar to reset block breaking progress. The unfortunate thing is that the Redstone Update only partially fixed the bug, which is why that old feature doesn't work anymore.

the wither can explode when it’s dead
The wither bends over and dashes through blocks and makes a rapid broken door sounds
When the wither gets low in health he smashes the ground with the explosion and summons wither skeletons
You can deflect the blue wither skulls back at him

And i had no clue the roses had to be blue because of hardware! I thought it was because why not! I keep remembering how i deleted my first minecraft world in pocket edition. Why? Because the powered rails came out before redstone on pocket edition, and when the redstone came out, i got so mad i griefed it and i think deleted it. @@jennfreeman1962 yeah, you can even jailbreak ios but it is near impossible, or mabye it is impossible. Linux is literally the definition of what a jailbroken device is like, it basically allows access to all files and stuff on the system. Mabye newer androids can't be jailbroken as easy now but idk concidering i use apple

I bought Minecraft in 2012 and played thousands of hours, but never once seen the original trailer before. Very interesting

From this video I remember the nether reactor, the life restored while sleeping, the stonecutter, the tutorial world from Xbox 360, the door puching thing, the creeper moving, the dragon bar and the smooth stone slabs

There are so many things in this video that I don't count as things only "old players"/Minecraft veterans know, especially anything past the full 1.0 release is not within veteran scope in my opinion.
To be fair, personally I started playing just a couple of days after the Nether was introduced in the Halloween update, which is a hell of a long time ago.
I would have definitely expected the mention of the piston mod and the eventual implementation of them in Beta 1.7, those were THE days!

I remember Xbox 360 Minecraft... I remember cod black ops, angry birds, Forza motorsport 4 and split second. Those were good times.

I have the Wii U and my tutorial world had a jungle treehouse themed area, a huge town square type of thing as the start point, and a castle, I can’t remember what version it was though. I loved it so much!!

Mah boi, when I started playing minecraft, redstone took as long to mine with an iron pick as obsidian took with a diamond pick. Food didn't stack, and shift clicking was just a glimpse in Jens mind.

Also RIP old door sounds, and chests that made door sounds LOL

The Minecraft tutorial and old blacksmith structure and shallow water damage makes me feel like Lloyd throwing an aging potion at the dragon and himself from Ninjago.

Why is nobody talking about Steve standing on a herobrine cross in the trailer?
Also, herobrine on the screen spotted at 11:57

Anyway, Herobrine has been an inside joke with Mojang for a LONG time, so that might be the very first reference!
