The "half life" thing is a bit risky, but once your life total gets low, it becomes increasingly meaningless. I would recommend adding Profane Transfusion to this deck, which I will do. If you manage to survive with all that life loss, and then use this against an opponent, it is a total blowout. Particularly well against a player with a life gain strategy. I'm all about most of the cards in this video, but the curses are really not that great. Especially curse of Opulence. Why in a goad deck would you play this in a goad deck? The other players will get ramp just for attacking, which they will be doing anyway, because they can't attack you. And, they'll be so pissed off that when they finally do get the chance to attack you, they'll never consider attacking the other player that is cursed, unless somehow that player still managed to get around goad or has a high life total. Curse of Predation might work, though, because it fits with the +1/+1 counter theme.
