I just used this 2 months ago on a 08 explorer 4.0 Eddie Bauer. I blocked off the heater core and did the rest according to directions. It has sealed wherever the leak was. No more goopy gunk on oil fill cap. No lost coolant. Saved me almost 4k to replace
I bought because i new if its that expensive it has to work and sure enough this stuff is great . I was able to trade my car in before it failed so i dont know but i got a year easy
I had a full blown head gasket. Wouldn't start. My master mechanic friend said we're not doing anything until we try the fast cheap method. Even though it doesn't say drain, pull the thermostat and bypass the heater core buy connecting the in and out hose. We did and it never leaked again. Flushed the system and put everything back and fixed for maybe 50.00. I'll always do it that way no matter what the instructions say.
I dont care for the cheaper stuff from the same company , it has different routine and im not sure it works as well . I just left this stuff in the engine , never flushed it and it keep me going until i got a new car
now I used some bars radiator leak repair on a car once. the stuff with the black pellets and it blocked my radiator up and it exploded out the side of it. different stuff but thought I'd comment on that
yeah ive never had luck with radiator stop leak and it ruins the coolent ducts . This stuff saved me once before so im trying it on my stepdaughters car
I think it was an intake manifold leak in the headgasket. So it was sucking water. This plugged it for the last 2 years haven't had to scrap truck or rebuild the head
Your next car give some thought to a 'Leak Down Test' if buying a second hand car as it can tell if head gasket is good or bad. Can be an expensive repair.

Yep, used it before and it gave me time to save up for the head gasket replacement.

I just started a new job and was barely planning to buy a car, hopefully, it will hold.
My stepdaughters car has bin goin for 6 months , 2 years seems to be the limit on this fix

So did it work?
So far
The fix is still going strong
yeah you can keep old cars running long with this kind of stuff.
Its working so far , no water has bin added . I had a feeling this stuff would only cost so much if it actualy worked
Nice channel
Thanks claud
I think i waited too long, to use this effectively, system dried out.
