Beautiful!!! I lost it at the part of running away while bullets rain down and the first mastery levels allowing something so basic like going outside. Your animations are top notch content.
Could you animate a sort of "here's the story of how I got here" but with Edwards? Obviously with him ending up on the chair in the boat, spilling the beans on the three families.
I have recently fallen head first into Freelancer, and found your videos randomly. I have belly laughed way more than I should have, these are amazing ! Keep up the good work. Hugs from France !
I had to kill about 30 security guards in New York Io get my two targets was already suspiopus I was to knock someone out and steal their outfit as the remaining 2 guards went to where the bodies were while I escaped.
I'm just glad that going into hiding places is not an illegal action 😂 have to keep running and looking for a hiding place when the prestige objective is timed hide and seek
Notice the distinct lack of Colorado. That’s because you don’t do Syndicates with Colorado. Also love the detail of the Marrakesh Guard being the one to point a gun at 47. Since that’s easily the second worst map.
ngl when i got to mastery 60 my game loop went like this: 1. no matter if im in hardcore mode or not, i pick a contract that does NOT have these maps in it: Bangcock Colorado Mumbai Morocco Ambrose these maps are very difficult to do in silent assassin, especially suit only, if such prestige objective happens to happen. one of the maps should be either sapienza, paris or haven since these maps are pretty easy to hide bodies in 2. take two emetic dart guns (yes, two, for cases when 1 is not enough), plus a crowbar and a wrench or something else to through and cause a distraction 3. alt+f4 if something goes horribly wrong profit!
My greatest fear in freelancer gotta be proximity explosives man. So far I've died 2 times using prox mines, one cause I though I threw a remote mine at a guard and like an idiot ran to go pick it up only to hear it click and explode and another time I used it on a leader and managed to successfully blow it up but immediately every guard in a 5 mile radius was on to me and shot me dead a few feet away from an exit. Note to all freelancers, STAY TF AWAY FROM PROXIMITY EXPLOSIVE, no matter if it's a challenge. The risk ain't worth it lol
That is very true. However, this video is kinda biased since it’s from my experiences. I was only lucky enough to get the Sieker once so far, and then 47 promptly died and took it to his grave haha 😅
@@Cartoonishly I had one sieker that almost carried me through an entire run. Until I managed to die in the safehouse and I was carrying it on me so I lost it💀
I really dislike the freelancer thing, Hitman's targets always had some depth to them, some reason they needed to die - even going back to the first Hitman: Codename 47. It provided you with both the moral higher ground (compared to the targets), as well as motivation to succeed, and a feeling of high stakes the more you immersed yourself into the role of 47. Freelancer just kinda.. removes that core element. I get why it's a thing, it just seems extremely separated from the Hitman franchise. Feels like random rampages in GTA, killing for no reason other than to see how far you can go. While that's the point of many games, it's not the point of Hitman.
Story was never the core of franchise, it was the sandbox gameplay, you've got the target - kill it however you like it, find tens of different ways and approaches, peak replayability, and the story is just icing on the cake.
@@domacleod no, it's like saying the story mattered for old NFS games, it didn't, most fun you had from the races themselves, the story once again was only a fine addition. And FIFA is just a casino, don't even bring it up.
@@thesun9210 Except the story was never a thing that was highlighted in the early NFS games, so story is not what people would expect from NFS entries. Sure, they started adding "story" to later NFS entries, but it was actually never about story. (And tbh I find the fact that there is "story" in the newer ones to be rather annoying, especially since it's so repetitive - you have a banging car, you lose it, you race to get it back) Hitman in contrast started out with its first entry full of story, including killing all of 47's "fathers", hitman 2, blood money and contracts continued with the heavy storytelling and giving you good reasons why people had to die (even if some of them ended up being manipulations). It was always hand-in-hand with the story. It was never just random locations to play around with, sandbox style, and it was never just hired killing. Things had to be done in specific ways to fit with the context of who placed the hit on the person and why. Planting an opposing gang symbol on a corpse to cause a gang war, getting a CIA agent out of a mental hospital by faking his death (and at the same time foreshadowing the fake death of 47), etc.
@@domacleod and yet what made both series iconic were not stories, but gameplay, devs even made their first film about different ways of killing targets. Yes, first part had a lot of linear missions and that's actually bad for gameplay and good for your story, but players dislike first part for this reason as further series goes by different path, the gameplay-oriented. Like i said, story was on the side, you get a briefing or a cutscene for 2 minutes and there are hours of gameplay ahead, i don't see a lot of story here. Most were actually random, you were thrown from one part of the globe to another and it was sandbox style as devs gave you tons of guns, open locations where you can do whatever you want, that's the point. Those are very specific missions, and are actually more appealing to hired gun, as you gotta follow straight orders, while most missions give freedom on how to do their job, that's why people love this series. And story is just there, not bad, not exceptional, just good icing on the cake of gameplay and music. If you want story Hitman just look at Absolution, that's a garbage you get when you step away from real Hitman core.

Part 3 here: th-cam.com/video/rxzfkcg4Fds/w-d-xo.html
Immediately getting spotted in the Marrakesh rooftop spawn and the utter disbelief on the Circumcision Knife reward are both things that I relate to.
The marrakesh rooftop was such a fucking curveball, i swear
Are there two rooftops you can spawn on? I haven't had trouble with it even with an alerted territory.
The dick cutter offer 9000 is the best weapon in hitman 3
That was my first Freelancer level! I thought the mode was broken
Ever spawn in the morgue in Hokkaido?
Finally, an excuse to why I can't touch grass. I have to wait until mastery 13.
You gotta earn it by traveling to different countries and throwing rubber ducks at people
i was sooooo impatient trying to get outside lmao
It's to an almost unreasonable point how accurate these videos are!!
I SWEAR
Exactly
0:13 this is how I exit basically every mission
The part with 47 jumping in the speedboat had me there which is unbelievably true
47 clawing at a door to go outside is amazing.
LMFAO blowing the safe up at the end only to forget to pick up the money is....very relatable
47 clawing at the door and his circumcision knife face got me. Love your videos Cartoonishly, fantastic work as always!
Beautiful!!! I lost it at the part of running away while bullets rain down and the first mastery levels allowing something so basic like going outside. Your animations are top notch content.
47 after killing a suspect that matches the exact description, but it still says "not target killed"
amazing touch on the car cutscene cause he always looks so annoyed 😭
It'll get worse once 47 finally gets to go outside only fo find out the player bought the DLC that lets them place giant eyeballs in 47's back yard.
0:20 Best part of this video
i don’t know how every one of the freelancer experiences fits into a 37 second video but it happened

The box rewards are too accurate...
0:04 Literally that was my first ever Freelancer mission, it was in Marrakesh and it went exactly like that
The can’t go outside because your not on level 13 was hilarious 😂 & true
I love the minor callback to Hitman 3 be like in the scene where 47 blows up the safe
That's an interesante and amazing
Keep up the good work
Cartoonishly my beloved
I love these Hitman animations.
So I had no idea these existed and I’m so fuckin happy I found them
Amazing. Nothing more, nothing less.
Amazing animation as always, and also very relatable hahai
I didn't even KNOW some of the items I can get from the safehouse crate existed in-game. For example, the Water Canister.
I'm loving these so much! Truly wonderful. Can't wait to see more!! :)
Came here from reddit
Brilliant animation my dude
Loving all the hitman animations, still hoping one of them captures the absurdity of the supplier in the showers on haven island though!
If only I can get a Haven Island spawn instead of santa fortuna, Dubai, or Bangkok for the 100th time
She hot though
It's exactly like that! :D Great animation! It must take so long to animate a video like this! I can't even imagine.
Amazing video! I remember playing old Hitman games and it's my best childhood.
Great animation and a clear passion for the game. Lovely as always!
Congrats on 2.5k subscribers Cartoonishly!!! The recent animated shorts on Freelancer are so well done and funny
The Dartmoor boat escape one had me in stitches as that was literally me yesterday.
Glad to find this channel and people who appreciate hitman stuff, everyone I know is a weeb these days
I love the outside thing! XD
You are on fire lately. I am here for it.
Also, is the Dubai safe at 0:28 a call back to your Hitman 3 be like video from two years ago ?
Good eye :) It is, I thought it was fitting given the safe being there.
Not to be confused with Timed Trails, which give you 2 minutes for 4 suspects placed on opposite sites of the map.
Absolutely perfect
These are really good
Lmfao the circumcision knife was one of the first rewards Diana gave me. Left me a tad shocked to say the least.
this is so good, I already watched it 5 times
Well done bro!
That knife at the end was the first thing the game gave me.
Very well made! I haven’t even played freelancer that much yet I still understand just how accurate this is lol.
Good lord, what a masterpiece
47’s greatest weakness: Not being able to use the bathroom, and not being able to touch grass.
unlocked new mastery b e n c h
Ooo I'm liking this a lot ^^
Hell yeah another video
it should be tittled as hitman freelancer in nutshell btw love ur content
This is great!
"circumcision knife"🥴
Three words :
Please. Make. More.
Абсолютно во всем согласен)))
True
Creative video, I love it
LOVE IT
Nailed it!
Funny, I love it

The circumcision knife joke xD
At the end, He forgot to go back for the merces
thanks for the vid
Love how 47 Acts like a dog that wants to get our
This is the most creative way to describe how accurate 47 in freelancer is😂
0:04
Yea, yea
Fockin lamp shop roof in Marakesh
The reward create is so relatable. One time i got a claw hammer from it 💀
If my aim in Hitman was as accurate as your videos are about Hitman, I would be GREATEST assassin man 😔🤣
I'm just glad that going into hiding places is not an illegal action 😂 have to keep running and looking for a hiding place when the prestige objective is timed hide and seek
on point
0:20 is inspired by the Potion Master right?
Brilliant lol

Him examining the circumsision knife 😂

This is so true
I’m Not The Only One Who Kills More Non-Targets In Freelancer Than The Normal Game Right?
*loses half of your mercers in the stock market*
Only non-accurate thing was the lack of the sieker and tranquilizer dart
