Finally ! So many thanks for posting this ! I had the chance to (shortly) drive one of these beauties while racing the Liège-Rome-Liège Rally in 1992. A pal of mine had one and engaged it in the rally. Something I'll never forget. AFAIR, there were about 120 TZ1 made, so very rare cars. And as you say, those cars were made to be driven, whatever their price tag is today. That's why I hate cars museums such as AutoWorld in Brussels. Static is not a word meant for cars. Run them, in races, rallies or even to get at the bakery, but run them ! Keep up the good work !
+Philippe Vercruyssen Very true! Autoworld in Brussels is still good if you want to see some very rare cars. It's not the same as seeing them while they're racing but from time to time I do enjoy just looking at these beautiful machines in silence, getting close to them and walking around them for half an hour if we're talking Porshe 917 ;) However, I only do an event like that once a year or so. So I wouldn't be able to enjoy it for an extremely long amount of time, still prefer (by far) to see these cars perform on the track.

Always good to see classic cars on this great classic circuit, even if it looks more modern now with these asphalted run off areas.
