Thanks for such informative videos. Can u plz make videos regarding the requirements of applying in the medical schools after getting permanent residency ? And also can u plz make videos about the subjects in different universities upon which an international medical graduate can do masters?
I love the fact that you were very honest and detailed right, u gave the bad news but also provided a way around it, so hope isn't lost. I've subscribed to your channel, I look forward to getting more insightful videos from you, thank you 😊
There's NO NEED to study anything related to science prior to medical school. The requirements do not change. If you're an Arts major (for instance), all you need is to get the requirements just as if your major was in Nursing. One more thing: not all medical schools in Canada require students to GRADUATE in any other Bachelor's program. Basically the requirements for some schools can be fulfilled without graduating.
Hi Ada! Thank you so much for making this amazing video and enlightening people. Although allow my to add that some med schools in Ontario, Canada accept international students. I’m currently an international student studying my Bachelors at McMaster with the hope of applying to med next cycle. I know a bunch of international students who did their Bachelor degree in Canada and are currently in med school here without having PR or citizenship. The schools that accept international students include: University of Toronto, McMaster University and Queens University all in Ontario, Canada. Yes, the process is still very competitive but it’s not impossible with hard work.

If I complete my diploma of 2 years and then get the PR, do I have to study and undergrad program of 4 years in order to get into med school in Canada? or can I directly study MBBS after getting my PR? Love your channel btw. Keep up the good work!
Hi, usually you will be able to transfer1 year worth of credits from your 2 years diploma. You can get the PR and apply for undergradute by transferring credit so you don't have to study all 4 years after that you can apply for med school by giving MCAT. Hope this helped, thanks

If he doesn’t want to start afresh with med school in Canada, he can wait to finish the degree and then get his license to practice as a doctor before moving to Canada. Once he’s here he will have to take a series of licensing exams to qualify to do residency in Canada.
