Having seen him play many times back in the day, the thing I remember the most about Dominique was that when he went up for a jump shot, he was a good 4 feet off the ground. Thank about that for a second! And this is no exaggeration... Another banger bro!

I watched him several time at the old Omni. The Flight Center. You could get great seats for $20 bucks back then. He attacked the rim like it said something about his momma.

    26k+ points. 14th all-time scoring list.
He was pretty much a complete player, but always overshadowed by his dunking ability.

I think the league was overshadowed by his dunking ability😎

Glad you said that. They say 80s and 90s no athleticism lies now the 90s open the flood gates

I love when he gets a good dunk end every game

When older people (like me) tell younger people about Dominique, Kemp, etc., we watch today too. Special talents could play in any era.

I watched Nique many times in the Omni. When Nique went off two feet, there was two options. You just had to decide whether you wanted to be on TV later that night.

I watched NBA during the 80s and 90s. Out of Bird, Jordan, Magic, etc....my favorite all time (to this day) is Dominique Wilkins. He brought a show where ever he went on and off the court. NEVER had a 2nd go to player he could rely on. Doc Rivers was a TERRIBLE player. You can even see in this video when Nique calls for lobs, Doc would rather throw a bounce pass in traffic. When he was not in the top 50 list, I stopped watching basketball till around 10 years ago.

I saw that list and could not believe it. How could someone compiling that list say, "How about we at least look at the best player every team has ever had?", "Oh yeah, Nique."

Dope reaction. He's the reason that I wore #21 in HS.

There is a reason they call him the human highlight reel

I love ‘Nique! He’s a very classy guy! Plus he loves Larry so you KNOW he’s ok by me 👍
Srsly tho, he’s a joy to watch 🥰
I noticed they only had 1 clip of the Celtics (poor Larry 😞)

Back then as a big man you were required to contest anything around the rim

I'm thinking Nique had more putback dunks than any player in NBA history. By a wide margin too.

Nobody bow up for dunks like Nique. Before or since.

Unfortunately they don’t give extra points for form and degree of difficulty.

@@RobSportsCenter ok, I got it. Thanks for your reply. I advise you explore " vince carter and julius erving" for more dunkers as well and I think you couldn't tell well about Dominique dunks because his dunks are very difficult to do, if you carefully look at his dunks you can understand how much power he has and he hangs in the Air, especially look his two handed windmill dunks. I just shared my idea with you brother and I liked your video.
