Yes Dawkins was the truth. He could have been better. Which is scary.
Dominique Wilkins in my opinion is the most underrated player in the history. Dude is known for his ferocious dunks but when it comes to history of dunking, we say it starts with Julius then Jordan, Vince, LeBron. Dominique's name is always left out. He even got snub for the NBA's 50 best players. No way Pippen is a better player than Wilkins.
@Basic Truth KOBE???!!! There's no aspect of the game where you can put Kobe in and there's no Jordan in it. Kobe is great but he will always be someone who tried to be Jordan.

Wilkins was a violent dunker. I'm surprised he didn't break his hand on the rim at some point. Dom didn't just go up to dunk a ball, his intent was to tattoo "Spalding" on your forehead.

1st him and Jordan averaged 30+ against each other which means Dominique is wildly underrated as a scorer

The most incredible thing in Nique story is that he was drafted in 1982 as the 3rd overall by the Utah Jazz. They sold him to Atlanta for 1 million $$ because the Jazz need cash. Two years later the Jazz drafted J. Stockton and the next season they drafted K. Malone. If the Jazz would have kept Nique, I'm sure they would have won a championship in the late 80s. But some idiot General Manager messed that up.
I disagree slightly, because Nique would have made the Jazz better enough to miss those draft picks. Although it would have been interesting if played out as you stated.
Would be interesting if Wilkins and Stockton played together I'll give you that but if you missed out on Stockton the Jazz may not have built the dynasty that nearly won them championships in the mid to late 1990s so to say the GM is an idiot seems a bit oversimplified. While possible the Jazz possibly could win a title they would have still been underdogs to the Rockets and would probably never have gotten past the showtime Lakers in their prime to go to the championship let alone beat the 76ers, Celtics Pistons, and then the Bulls. If the Jazz were serious about winning they should have gotten better players to help support Pistol Pete.

Sadly after he tore his achilles he was never really the same. Still a good player, but his highlight film days were over.
