I've been experienced owning this type of car once in my life. I regret why I sold it. It was white color and red interior. T top . It's too costly now compared to 1980. God speed
If only it was a 77 that's my favorite, I never did care for those new style front ends. Just out of curiosity I was wondering if this was in a temperature controlled environment? I would assume sitting for that long in a garage with no heat and air it would rain havoc on every gasket on that car.
That is the Holly Grail my lord I would have to remove my boots & give thanks and light candles and do a purification process before getting in that car & driving it that car was meant to drive and that is what I would do with it but I would maintain it Impeccably

No, the 10th Anniversary 400/4 speed that was stored in a dealer's showroom for years had less mileage. Something like 7.8 miles or something like that.
I agree that it's odd. I also have a 79 TA 403 that came with a/c, pdl, but no power windows, and I thought it was strange. Mine has t-tops too. Mine was sold in Michigan, and I notice that the car in the video was also sold in Michigan, so maybe it was a Michigan thing 🙂. I found a good used original power window set-up, cleaned and restored it, and installed it myself, since I like having power windows. Works great.

Ok totally wrong if you are talking about Smokey and the Bandit. They used 1976 Trans ams with 1977 noses. The cars didnt come with 403's 1976 , they came with 400's amd 455's .

It’s 35 miles. Cars still get surface rust over years of sitting. We have had a 7 mile car with surface rust. A normal garage without humidity control will have cars with surface rust. Have you ever seen a 7 mile car from the 70s?
I would love to have that car but I wouldn't be able to resist driving it.
This car was at the Mecum Dallas auction last week and they turned down 140,000 dollars for it.
Not sure who is crazier....the owner or the bidder.

I have a friend who has the same car(diff color) that has 3000 miles on it. He has all original documentation.
My 79 Formula still has those clear plastic things in between the dash and the windshield pillars.
Assuming its very well taken care of? Its always good to see them in the cars.
